It does what it needs

Will boil water fairly fast and a removable base means easier cleaning. This is a great cooking alternative for small pot meals for 3-4 people. The only thing I notice is that the pot only boils on one side specifically. Nonetheless it works as intended

Only good for boiling water...

I got this for RV cooking and it failed miserably. Love the design, much easier to work with than similar items with a permanent attached cord that needs to be unplugged every time just to wash it and not die. The main problem is, this thing has 2 settings..."scorch" and "putting it outside in the sun would keep it warmer". The temp knob is a joke, kind of like those toy ovens where the knob just turns in circles but barely has a function. You turn this on and then it alternates between the modes I mentioned until your food is burnt to the bottom yet barely warm. It gets a couple stars for still being able to boil some water for dishes. Other than that this thing is good if you need the extra exercise of scrubbing the burnt layer off with every use.

Easy to use FAST boil

For someone only wants small sauce pan size and fast . Easy to clean and temp control precise . The watts used says 800 and that would be on high . Much less than standard electric stove . Also at 800 wats someone could put appliance plug in timer to set on and off for 15 minutes for safety or timing .

temperature controller does not work.

I do really like this kettle. But after two months of use, the temperature controller started not working properly. It just turns continuously.

worst! Don buy it, don't waste your money

I wanted to use this for noodle just like description. I tried to cook for noodle, but it is not boiling. Power is very low so that can't keep boiling food inside. very useless, I brought just trash. Never buy it.
