Very thin, may not tighten down on your arbor
I put this on my old duracraft bench grinder. It was about 3/16 too thin for my arbor nut to lock it down. Thankfully I had some old blade stabilizers I was able to put on to make it work. Otherwise it's exactly what you'd expect from a less than $10 brass coated wire wheel. I would buy another one when this one is too trashed to use now that I have a work around for it's size.

I have this mounted on a Delta 6 inch variable speed bench grinder. I've been using it to take rust off parts of a Shopsmith. I had to purchase a 1/2 inch arbor to mount this to my grinder. The hole is actually 5/8 inch with a plastic spacer 1/2 inch. My one gripe is that this is not actually a brass brush, it is a brass plated brush and leaves scratches more than it should. It does take the rust off but it has collected lots of grease and oxidation and has turned black from use. It also has shed quite a few of the bristles. I will look for a better quality one next time, but I got what I paid for and even though I have some small gripes, it has done the job I bought it for, removing rust is a cinch.

Not really brass
This is an OK wheel but it is a very light brass plated steel wire. The brass comes off instantly in use so this is essentially a steel wire wheel. The mounting hole is also different than my other standard wheels, so some playing around with washers and spacers was required to center it in my grinder.

Good quality
Loving the wheel. Unlike some others I have bought, this one is soft enough to do finishing work but does not fal apart after 5 minutes of use. I will buy again.

Cheaply made, broken plastic centre insert
Mounted on my bench grinder, but had to make new insert from 5/8" to 1 /2" because supplied insert only half there and was mangled piece of broken plastic. This wheel is improperly crimped, and sheds wires like crazy. Poor quality all around!

Fit my bench grinder just fine.
I have used this a lot in the time I've had it. Soft enough wire to not damage brass fittings when buffing them clean.
