Very nice

I put together in like 45 minutes to an hour. Would have gone quicker if I would have had an electric screwdriver. Very cute. Perfect size for desktop or laptop and firs in corner

It’s super cute! Space saving. Easy to assemble. My only gripe is that the drawer doesn’t come with slides/railing. It kinda makes it a little cheapy… feel like it could’ve cost less because of that.

Helpful details to know before you buy

First off, I love the way this little corner desk looks in the corner of my dining room! It looks like it was made for my room. It holds homework supplies in the drawer, room on the top for a laptop and more besides, and room on the shelf underneath for my old stereo and a file folio. We had difficulty assembling it. The instructions were fine. The parts were all there, with a bag of extras, too. The problem was with the assembly of the shallow shelf "L shape" for under the desk. The cam lock bolt was either too short (63mm from end to end), or the pocket holes for the cam locks were drilled just a bit too far apart (from center to center, the cam locks were 66mm apart). So the cam lock bent open and could not grab the head of the cam lock bolt in order to stabilize and pull together the pieces of mdf shelving. My husband ran to a local hardware store and bought 2 flat brackets and some screws. (The mdf is about a half inch thick, incase you need to do this same solution. Also, make sure the brackets are close to the cam lock holes, so they don't get in the way of the side support when it's fully installed.) Other info I wish I had had prior to purchasing, but it turned out just fine for our uses: -Interior drawer dimensions (front to back, you can't fit a ruler): 22 and 3/8 inches wide by 10 and 3/4 inches front to back and 3 and 1/4 deep. -Height and width to the underside of the drawer face side (clearance for your chair and thighs): 23.5 inches tall by 25.25 inches wide. -Clearance on the underneath shelves: 11.25 inches tall (and the shelves are 6.25 inches wide where the legs don't notch into that dimension). -Clearance from the floor to the underneath shelves: 11 and 7/8 inches, not including the brackets we had to add. -The drawer bottom is only 1/4 inch thick. Do not plan on the drawer holding anything heavy. (Put your coin collection elsewhere!) The entire piece is made of mdf. It's also known as puff board. If the piece gets scratched and then wet, or just gets wet and not wiped immediately, the surface will act like a sponge and will swell! It really can't be repaired once that happens. The desk came with touch up paint. Not sure if it is water based (that'd be bad on a cut surface). Look up how to prime puffboard, if you ever need to do touch ups. You should not apply anything waterbased to the open surface of mdf. The sheen on the desk is somewhere between eggshell and semi-gloss and the color about matches Sherwin William's "Nacre," SW 6154. (As if there is the tiniest droplet of army green in the vanilla antique white.) I hope this helps!

good enough for the job

this is a good product, not amazing but good. I have it as a makeup desk in my room and it does the job. I would not expect this to last in a move tho, crap particle board but for 80$ its okay

Nice desk, some watch outs for assembly

Be careful, the screw for the final step (to mount the drawer glide on the underside of the desk top) is not sized properly and will push through the finish on the desk top surface if you drive it all the way in. Really disappointing to have a split in the finish right in the middle of the desktop. The bottom shelf (the long side) also needs to be reinforced to really hold anything, and the drawer slides a bit rough. Overall, a nice desk for a small corner, went together easily, and good value for the price if you’re careful with the assembly.

Beautiful in the bamboo finish, but….BUGS!

The finish and color are beautiful, the directions were very good, and it was easy to assemble. Having said that, it had bugs, or perhaps wood worms. There were telltale prick holes throughout several of the support pieces, especially the bar the drawer slides underneath. I didn’t put two into together until I noticed sawdust in the drawer the day after assembly. I took it outside and sprayed it thoroughly with an outdoor all insect killer spray, this seems to have done the trick, as I found several small dead black bugs or worms approximately 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch long. I would recommend that you inspect each piece of wood prior to assembly. It would have been easier to spray individual pieces, then to try to get into all of the nooks and crannies once it was assembled. If it hadn’t been for this I would have given the product 5 stars.

Not as pictured

It works great for the space but unfortunately it is not antique white—it’s bright white and the handle is a chrome silver handle. The drawer doesn’t pull out very easily. Had to knock stars for not being as advertised or shown in the pictures.

Felt I had to review because of all the mixed reviews

The desk arrived in perfect condition and all the parts were there. I chose the white one, and unlike the photo I got a very white desk, not an eggshell. Also, like some people have said, the drawer handle is a silver metal handle, not a wooden knob. Most of the pieces are made from a white panel particle board. (Unsure about the top part of the desk, but it’s very light so probably also particle board) It took me about 30-45 mns to assemble and it was SUPER easy. I did it by myself. Everything did line up perfectly, but I did use a few extra screws using my drill just to make it extra sturdy. The instructions were well written out with graphics as well. Giving 5 stars because this thing was affordable and I’m super happy with it. Nice new shipping corner in my studio.

As advertised

This did exactly what I needed it to do! It serves as both a make up station and a desk.
