Liked it so much I bought it again!

This rubber stopper works as God intended stoppers to work; fits perfectly snug in the bathroom sink's drain hole and readily pops out when you need it to by tugging on its little metal loop. This is the second time I purchased this particular 1 1/4" stopper, only because the soft water in my area discolored the original unit over it's 6 year life. So if you are in need of a good, affordable, quality rubber stopper, this Danco unit will make your day. Enjoy!

perfect for our tub

We bought this plug to replace the metal one in our tub that had rusted (weird, right?) and it's the perfect fit. Sturdy rubber and ring.

Great Stopper - Metal Pull Came Loose on 1s Pull

The plug is great - I will have to find a metal chain or heavier metal to wrap on the plug to pull with.

Worked well

Used it to plug utility sink in laundry room. Worked worked. Good value for the price. Wished it came with a stainless steel chain to secure it on the faucet when not plugged in. Would have paid extra for a chain.

Good old fashione style drain plug

This is the same style plug I have been using for 20 years in the bathtub. They might get grimy and hard with age, but they last forever.

I'm not going to lie. It took a lot of trial and error for me to figure out the right bathtub drain size that I needed. I ordered...too small...ordered again...to large...ordered again...almost, but not quite...ordered again....just right. Actually, went to Walmart and brought a 3 pack of various sizes and just tried them all until I got the right snug fit I needed. The sizes were on each drain plug and that's how I figured out which one I needed. Great thing about getting them through Amazon is that you can get --just--the size you need and not pay for 2 additional sizes that you'll never use. The price is acceptable for a little plastic drain plug. The only thing that I have noticed recently is that I tried to clean my tub and part of that process--for me--is that I fill the tub with a mix of water, bleach and ajax after scrubbing and let it sit overnight to really get it super clean and had this little stopper in the drain. The next morning, it had all drained out. This really surprised me because water stays in the tub for my baths but water drained out during an overnight clean, so---what I would say is that it is only going to hold for maybe a good hour or so, before the water begins to slow drain out....You may notice it, you may not, but don't look for it to hold water for an extended period of time.

Works after small modification

I had read the reviews before ordering and realized most of these plugs have the same problems with the metal ring sliding off. I got the idea of using a keyring since I had a bunch laying around I just drilled a hole and problem solved, it was worth the $3.00 price of this plug as opposed to the other ones at triple that price. Edit: It fits my 1&3/4 drain well, I could not detect any leaking.

It fits, it was a good price, and the water doesn't drain. What more could you ask for. Sometimes a simple tried and true product is the best even if it's not the flashiest. Lol flashy drain plug.

Awesome Review On A Boring Product

It stops the water from going down my master bathroom drain. Hard not to give it 5 stars. Ideally I would have liked a chain to attached to my faucet but at this price point and the number of times I actually need to fill or partially fill my bathroom sink it was worth the cost of doing business. My review all aside what does this say about you? You sitting around doing nothing important and so bored you’re reading a review a sink stopper. These maybe be sad boring days for you my friend. If my review helped or hindered you from making this purchase, that’s on you. Is it sadder to read a review of a sink stopper or write a review of it? Read. By a lonely country mile.
