Good product but larger than hoped.
After ordering small, the package I received is labeled “S/M” and they are definitely more on the medium side. I am a small-boned person so I was hoping for a smaller size instead. Otherwise, it’s a good product (I have previously purchased them) which cushions well and lasts through many hand washings after use.

These pads have allowed me to avoid toe surgery thus far by separating two toes that rub together.
These toe sleeves have been a lifesaver for me. Last fall, I went to a podiatrist regarding pain I was having between my last two toes on my right foot. After doing an x-ray, he informed me that the bones of those two toes were rubbing against one another and it would require surgery to shorten the bone in one of the toes. At the time, I was facing the prospect of a knee replacement, so I told him that had to be my primary concern at the time. He gave me a toe sleeve (and charged me a ridiculous amount for it) and that helped with the pain, so I came on Amazon to find a more reasonable option than paying him highway robbery for a supply of toe sleeves. I actually like these BETTER than the one he gave me, because the silicone pad on these is an oval shape whereas the one he gave me was square and much more bulky. These are still bulky to a certain degree, but once you learn how to position them, it's not so bad. I was already wearing wide-width shoes, so the extra bulk of the toe sleeve did not cause a problem. If you wear very narrow shoes, this may not be the case. I've now been wearing these pads for about 8 months and, for the most part, they have been a successful option to surgery. Each pad can be worn a number of times...how many times depends on how gently or roughly you treat them. I think I'm on only my second bag of these pads in 8 months, and still have quite a few never-worn ones in my drawer, so mine have gotten quite a lot of wear! None of the silicone pads on mine have worn out, but the fabric sleeve can ravel or stretch out if not handled with care. If I could change anything, it would be for the silicone pad to be JUST a touch thinner so it wasn't so bulky. I've included pictures of my foot with the sock on and sock off, both while wearing the toe sleeve.

Only one size, not as shown in picture.
The pads are great but the picture shows different sizes and when it arrived they are all the same size. I was disappointed and could have returned them but….oh well, you win sine you lose some. Should have read further in description.

Finally found relief!
I've tried many of the products available on Amazon and a few from local stores trying to find a way to be able to walk more than half a mile without foot pain from Morton's Neuroma. Some products just haven't been comfortable. Others have been ok for moving around the house in socks or loose bedroom slippers, but until now none have been comfortable to wear with hiking shoes or sneakers, often because the shoes become too tight with the addition of the product. These pads do the trick. Each pad is very comfortable and not so thick that my toes are freakishly splayed. They create enough space between toes to keep the nerves from getting pinched and since the pads are singles (each pad goes on one toe or finger) you get to choose how much padding you want. Unless you are wearing shoes with narrow toe boxes (which is a real no-no for people with toe/foot pad issues), you should have no problem wearing them comfortably with shoes. Note that I bought the large/extra large pads and the small/medium pads to cover all my toes needs. They may seem pricey, but I've spent a lot more on products that aren't solving my main problem--making it possible to walk out in the world in regular shoes without pain or discomfort

Buyer Beware! !/3 of items Missing! Big rip off!
I like the product and it usually comes as advertised. But, not this time! Horrible! 1/3 of package missing! Beware before you buy! Purchased this item. The package was supposed to contain 12 pieces for $24.99. The package arrived old, worn out with holes in it and it only contained 9 pieces.

Excellent for my purposes
i have bunions, and my 2nd toe on each foot has "hunched up" to compensate, so now the joint pokes up above the other toes, causing friction from shoes. These work very well to prevent pain and skin breakdown on those 2nd toes.

Complete rip off! Buyer Beware!
I have used this product for years. Historically, I have gotten from my podiatrist, but I needed more pads ASAP so I ordered from Amazon. I was shocked when I received the package and discovered that for over $23, I only got one pad. The package should have come with 12! My issue is not with the product, but the fact that I was ripped off.

Prevent corns!
I was originally given two of these by my podiatrist at a cost of $5.00 each, and then I found them here for a fraction of the cost. These work great if you have a vulnerable area prone to forming corns. I use them on my second toe on each foot, with the gel pad positioned between my big toe and second toe. I've been wearing them for three months without issue. This size would probably be too small for use on the big toe. I was concerned that they would be too tight, but when my shoes are on, I'm not even aware of them. I won't wear them this summer with sandals, but they are great for closed shoes. You could probably wear them in a dressy sandal with nylon stockings, but certainly not with an open toe sandal and no stockings.
