Stops pain from my hammer toe while wearing closed toe shoes.
I've been using this ProFoot product for years to relieve pain from a hammer toe when wearing closed toe shoes. A few years back, it became unavailable for me to find in stores. Since that time, I have ordered it thru Amazon. Very grateful to be able to still get it.

They work great!
These work great! I've had hammer toes and a bunion since I was a toddler. I had started taping the big toe recently on both feet and once that got flexible enough I tried taping the hammer toe as well. I wasn't having much luck with the tape so I decided to try these. I didn't think they'd work but they've actually been great. The toe was very stiff at first and I was not able to wear these long at first. After some stretching and about 2 weeks of only wearing these an hour or two a day I can now wear them all day. I use them every other day, including when I run (a normal run is about 5 miles). I've gotten a lot more flexibility in the tendon now and I'm hoping it will slowly heal the callus I developed as it stops rubbing on the other toe. I have really small feet and these work fine. They fit easily under a sock and in a shoe and are very comfortable. My only reason for 4 stars is that they don't seem to be holding up really well after about a month (there're not that expensive though). They do stink after I wear them all day but after I let them air out they seem fine.

Used to be awesome, now cut my skin!
I have used these for quite a while and they really have helped my foot pain. However, the last 3 pairs I purchased have cut my toes. The tab on the velcro has very rough edges that have rubbed on my nearby toes and caused them to bleed. I've had to cover them with Bandaids to avoid this. I gave these a couple more chances to see if it was just a bad batch, but the issue has continued.

Not for My Problem
I have one toe that "slips" under its neighbor and ends up being pinched. This didn't help with that. Seems like a good product for hammertoe, but not a solution if what you are trying to do is just keep two neighboring toes out from under each other. For that I'll stick with thick toe caps.

The best ever for hammer toe
These toe straighteners are fantastic for hammer toes, I've tried the cheaper packs with 6 or 8 pieces in but those are so uncomfortable and have sharp edges. These on the other hand are soft with no sharp edges at all. They are brilliant, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent
Feels like you're not wearing it! So comfortable and far better than micro tap I got from hospital. My broken toe is supported now and in scared to use my foot more. Really good for the price and you get 2! So can wash against each other. Easy to put on and instructions on the back of the box. I fully recommend this product.

Ineffective for hammer toe AND non-returnable!
To begin with I thought this would be great as it flattened the hammer tow. However, it had to be done up quite tight to do so and was uncomfortable after a short time as it cut into the toes it was around. When I tried to return it I discovered it can't be returned! For me, it's not fit for purpose, yet I'm denied my statutory rights as a result of the returns policy. BE WARNED!

Works perfectly
This is the third type of toe strap I've tried on my overlapping toe, and it's the only one which works and is also comfortable. One which cost £12 didn't even stay on for one day's use. Another stayed in place but was uncomforable because I had to trim it to fit properly and the material was hard and caused sores. The Profoot stayed in place, didn't need trimming and was made of the right material to maintain comfort. I bought one a few months ago and it lasted well. It was out of stock when I wanted to reorder. So glad it's back in stock. Wouldn't get any other. Highly recommended.

Not worth the money
Thought this might help with sorting out one hammer toe but I could get 3 toes into the hole and still wrap it around the next toe to fasten off. The fabric does streach but i didn't expect it to be as bad as it was. Could have used a plaster better than this. Sorry, but do not recommend this at all.
