Works Ok; Still Sheds Particles
Works "ok". Still sheds small particles like the "steel" wool. Durability is so-so. Performed it's need of helping to sand down some primer on a very contoured piece of wood between painting coats.

It's fine. Extra fine, but bait and switch because the photo shows super fine.
I like the stuff OK. But I could have gotten it cheaper locally. Only bought online because the photo shows 0000 ("Super Fine") which I have not been able to get locally or online. Amazon is getting to be a game of avoiding trickery like this. May have to find a better place to shop?

Great for refinishing furniture
These are my go-to for an oil rubbed finish.

For Window Cleaning. Doesn't work the same
This doesn't work as well as 0000 steel wool for window cleaning. I had hopes I could use this for for my job, but it just does NOT work the same. It may work the same in other applications but not in this one.

Great substitute for fine steel wool
You can't beat these for final buffing of woods which have been polyurethane-finished. I use a wipe on poly for most projects, and this pad will smooth out the final finish very nicely, especially if the wood is pretty smooth to begin with. You can also experiment with placing the pad between a small orbital sander and the wood surface. This will yield a more aggressive polishing, but go easy.

Using on finished wood
I have been using this "steel wool" on some older finished wood that needs to be cleaned up with some citrus oil and beeswax combination. It has been working great without all the typical shards of real steel wool all over myself, the wood, and the floor. I think this is a nice substitute for the real stuff and it lasts much longer per piece.

Woodcarving aid
I use this by cutting squares and mounting on a dremel tool. I use it to remove cuz that sometimes occur on woodcarvings before painting. It will lightly buff wood some.

No substitute for steel wool
These pads really seem just about useless. Wish I had read the other reviews more carefully. Cons: - Doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. Won't buff or polish metal, wood, or varnish. - You might get better results with an old T-shirt or a dish sponge - Expensive Pros: - At least it doesn't make a mess?

Excellent product to clean your kitchen utensils
I bought this product after experimenting with various scrubbers that I purchased from Amazon. Unlike the three other scrubbers that I purchased and returned this product does the job pretty well. I get hard water in my apartment and often find that it leaves stains on my stainless steel kitchen vessels. I'm able to remove the stains with this scrubber and don't find any scratch marks on my vessels after using the scrubber.

Not worth the price
This is basically just a bunch of small green scrub pads

A fantastic (and inexpensive) improvement over standard steel wool - watch my video for Real World information
The media could not be loaded. A fantastic improvement over standard steel wool; not only does it not leave tiny bits of steel in your sink that then rust, and does not stick a sharp piece of wire under your thumb nail, it actually works better than steel wool on all sorts of pots & pans (my Sunday afternoon job) as well as electronic strip board (see video) to make it shine before soldering. So we now use this after years of using standard steel wool on our pots and pans, which whilst the latter cleans effectively does scratch the surface, unlike this product which cleans but in a more gentle manner and does not leave steel filings in the bottom of your sink. Neither does it sit there quietly rusting in a damp ball on the side of your sink but can be easily shaken to remove water and it then dries quite normally. For me, as an avid electronics enthusiast, it cleans my circuit boards and strip board prior to soldering absolutely brilliantly and leaves not steel filings to short circuit things afterwards. It last a long, long time (see the piece in the video which I must have used for 6 months). And it is most certainly kinder to my hands with no puncture wounds to my thumbs. And the cherry on the cake is the low price of this product - it's hardly worth hesitating considering the price it's being sold for. Better than steel wool in every respect.
