best trimmer ever

this is the best trimmer i have ever owned. works perfectly, and is durable as i have used it on my 110 foot hedge several times and i love it. makes tough jobs easier, i fully recommend it

good trimmer for the money; saw end is useless

We had a ton of trimming after the winter storm did a lot of damage here in Central Texas. This thing powered thru a field of dead bamboo. I take off one point because the saw trimmer on the end is totally useless. Not only does it not cut but it got in the way often when I was working (it would;d get caught on stuff and not able to cut thru. So it's not just a harmless gimmick, it makes the trimmer less usable. But overall not a bad trimmer for the money.

Craftsman hedge trimmer

This is my second time purchasing this craftsman hedge trimmer. My first one died after 15 years, so I bought the same brand and the same style. I considered a battery operated trimmer but they were too heavy and did not last long enough for me to trim my 125 feet Of hedges. This trimmer was easy to handle and the blade is very sharp and cut readily. And the tip cutting blade was great for cuttiing out those quick growing maple saplings!

Don't buy it; More minuses than pluses

I gave this trimmer three stars because the operator cannot lock this tool in the on position. it has a two button process to turn the tool on. after tool is running, you can release one of the buttons but must keep constant pressure on the trigger to keep it running. I suppose it is a good safety feature but i find it annoying and unlike other hedge trimmers i have owned and operated. I just finished working with this trimmer for three hours and don't like it. The 4 amp power is great. It cuts though 1/2 inch+ limbs. However, the no lock on is a problem and the limb "saw" on the end is worthless or worse. Holding the trigger is clumsy and burdensome.. I had to put one of my shop clamps on the trigger to keep it going. The "saw " on the end doesn't work and is not a feature but rather a problem. The saw teeth are too small and more like a hack saw. They don't cut anything. The hedge blade cuts more effectively than the saw. The hook at the end of the bar to assist the saw is a huge problem. It snags on the hedge and impedes trimming. Because the hook hangs up on the shrub, you cannot do a left sweep on the hedge as the hook will hang up the tool. You can only do a right hand sweep. The saw is a big zero and takes up 2 inched at the end of the bar. It doesn't cut anything and you essentially lose the end 2 inches of the tool making it an 18 inch trimmer.

Excelente producto!!!

Cuando la compre, no estaba seguro al 100% por los comentarios de la cierra que tiene en la punta, pero una vez teniéndola y usándola me di cuenta que es SÚPER ÚTIL ! Y es una SÚPER HERRAMIENTA! Es divertido usarla y ya no dependo de los jardineros abusivos! Hice una muy buena compra, se las recomiendo ????

Bueno a medias.

El producto es bueno solo que le falto un gran detalle que el proveedor omitió no trae una extensión como toda herramienta eléctrica debe traer y hay que comprar un adaptador para poder utilizarla.
