DO NOT BUY

While the idea was great with drink recipes, that didn’t matter since this item leaked TERRIBLY!!! Do not waste your money on this cocktail shaker.

One drink at a time

Works well for one drink at a time. Only set back is that it's slightly difficult to pull the top off after use. The top becomes cold and moisture develops on the outside, making it harder than normal to pull the top off. Other than that, it's a good shaker.

Not for everyone, but for me.

While not as nice to look at as a solid stainless-steel one, having a few recipes literally on-hand is convenient, and I personally like being able to see inside to help gauge my measurements better.

Cool shaker

Cool shaker. Met my expectations. Update: Ran it though the dishwasher a couple times. Bad idea as printed info on sides for different drinks faded. Still nice though. Just hand wash it. The nylon/plastic ring around the cap seems to be stretching a little with use and sometimes a little bit challenging to position to keep the seal tight.

while unnecessary, are handy

I looked at a number of small shakers and chose this one. It suits my purpose perfectly. A top feature is its size, in that it produces martini's, manhatten's, etc. that, when combined with ice, makes a drink of 'proper' size, with or without the ice. The recipies on the glass, while unnecessary, are handy. The glass cleans easily and the cover seals well when shaken.

Is okay

Is okay for starters the coocktail recipe's are a good too but when you shake a small amount spills

The printing does not last long, even with never putting the shaker in the dishwasher.

It works well enough for a little while. After a month or so of rinsing with cold water, the recipe printing is all but gone.

Great present for starters

Got it as a present for dad, who's not the most creative person, but wanted to try mixing more. Has your standard bar cocktails which is nice and easy to see measurements. The lid doesn't get stuck, and uses two plastic washers? to keep fluid inside. Make sure you keep good shaking form so the lid doesn't fly off.

I appreciate the leakproof top with the little measuring “shooter top” Much smaller than your average mixer

Useful writing erased

Used a few times for cocktails and was pleased to see the ingredients and quantities right on the shaker. However the writing erased after a few times despite washing by hand. For that reason I do not recommend.
