A Few Tips

I chose the Lucea over the Smooth ID after trying them both because I thought the Smooth ID was too complicated to use in manual mode. I am happy with that choice because for my hair I wanted to be able to manually switch easily between setting and I could not figure out how to do that with the Smooth ID. A few tips I have learned. One is that if it doesn't turn on remember to double click it. And if that doesn't work then unplug it for a few seconds. The other tip is that you have to clean these things. I have not had one before and I noticed that after a few weeks the plates were turning yellow and it looked like the edges were chipping but the reality was that it had burned on gunk from my hair products. A wipe down with a rag damp but not too wet with some white vinegar solution cleaned it right up and it was white again then I repeated with a rag damp in plain water. Now I will do this after every couple of uses to make sure it doesn't get product build up on it. Of course you don't immerse it. Otherwise I think it is great.

Makes Doing My 3C Hair More Efficient

Only one pass and far less likely to snag with proper heat protection. Purchased this to replace my HSI flat iron which had chipped. Great alternative, was able to safely use on my 3C hair on the 7-9 setting and finish styling in almost half the time of my previous iron with lasting results. Barrel doesn't get too hot to handle safely.

Best flat iron, better than Chi

So the first flat iron I purchased didn’t work so I returned it and immediately got my replacement that works perfectly. This is the best flat iron I have ever used. I am so happy with the temperature setting, the ease of use and how my hair just feels softer than when I’ve used other flat irons in the past. A bonus is the shape and rotating cord is kind on my wrist and it’s pretty.

Not as good as I was hoping

It heats fast and straightens very effectively but still snags my hair almost every time

Amazing product!

I have thyroid issues, so I haven’t been using heat products on my hair S much, but this straightener really helped. It doesn’t get too hot and you don’t have to pass over the same strands too often. Leaves hair really soft and bouncy and straight.

Tengo varias planchas y tenazas y ésta me encantó por que me hago diferente tipo de ondas. No pesa nada, calienta rapidísimo, se ajusta el calor para cada tipo de pelo, es cara, pero realmente me gusta y para mi vale la pena por que tienes varias herramientas en una.
