I can verify that these are definitely 100% cotton t-shirts, so they are cooler than the polyester blends. They WILL shrink some in the wash. If you separate colors in the wash, then you’ll be able to order any color offered. If you don’t separate colors in the wash (like me!) then don’t order the yellow or white which will turn grey, and don’t order any oranges, pinks, reds, yellows, or bright greens because they will bleed color in your laundry. I chose to purchase two of these shirts, light blue and dark blue, in the 2XL size. I probably ought to have ordered them in my regular XL size, or maybe even down to a large for a snug fit. However because of my overall “pear” shape, carrying all my weight in my belly, I do like some extra room. I figure these will certainly shrink down a bit in the wash. I will probably be back to order more of these tees. These t-shirts are very well made. There’s quality double-stitching everywhere. I’m really unsure what they mean by “heavy cotton” in the product description. These are cotton knit shirts. I have 100% cotton bed sheets, and I guess these shirts are maybe about as heavy as those. In other words, these shirts are lightweight but not see through. I’ll still wear a lightweight (zipper front) 100% cotton sports bra underneath though when I exercise in public. These shirts are made in Honduras. The tags are written tiny and I have a hard time reading their actual wash instructions- but it looks like they want you to wash & dry cold, delicate/low spin, to help keep them from shrinking. Turning them inside out before washing will also help preserve their color and their lifespan. Ok everyone! These are great shirts, cool, and comfortable. I hope this review might help your decisions.

Thicker basic t-shirt
I wanted to buy some basic thicker t-shirts. I am happy with the 2-pack I got. They are 100% cotton, thicker than the paper-thin t-shirts they sell in stores nowadays. I do not like thin and clingy t-shirts that show every flow of my body. I am 5'3, 185 lb and bought XL - they cover my bottom. The quality is OK - not as soft as could be, but totally serve the purpose of wearing it for every day errands and feeling comfortable. The price is great.

Perfect Fit
I ordered two of the sport grey t-shirts. The tag says they're 90% cotton & 10% polyester. The fabric is great quality - not too thin and just thick enough. I'm 5'2", 195 lbs & the XXL fit perfectly. That's my normal size so these run true to size (at least the sport grey ones do). I'm so pleased I plan to order more colors.

Sturdy
I use these T-shirts for around the house...meaning that they get stained with bleach, other cleaners as well as paint, etc. They hold up well to this abuse. They are comfortable as well.

Great fit but not white
Love the fit and length. Bought two white and two black. Returned the white because it wasn’t really white….more cream. I placed a white tank top over them for a color reference.

Love the quality and value for it.
Great shirt. Sturdy cotton not the softest but I find this black shirt comfortable. I like the fabric cuz 100% cotton(solid colours). The fabric stretches taking the shape of your body and it’s movements. It became a bit more loose where I wanted the shirt more loose by stretching to my body shape and stretching by body movements over time. I ordered XXL and am currently six feet tall and like 263lbs. I think the scoop neck is more like a crew scoop neck with a small scoop. I love it. The sleeves are short like ladies length shirt sleeves shorter than men’s and well above the elbows. I ordered more in red:) I like the length of the torso as well.

All around good shirts but stiff material
The fit of the shirt was good and it was not see through (a big plus for me) but they are a very scratchy and stiff material before and after a wash which is really odd for cotton shirts. I don’t know if I just got a bad batch but yea the quality for the value is good but it is not as soft as other Gildan products.
