Better than a third hand!

Saw a fence installer using one of these, so I bought one to use during my fence project. What a good idea. Made plumbing the post easy as pie, no struggling to hold a level. Cheap at twice the price

Highly visible

I purchased this for a vinyl fence post project which means you need the rubber band, but the one that comes with it is very poor quality. The level is a little big for this project too .

Magnet is not super strong

The media could not be loaded. Magnet is not strong. So it does not stay on the post it self. You need rubber band put it around. Other than that it’s durable material. Feels solid.

Cost a fortune with postage in the UK. One of the vials is out of true - the magnets are not magnetic and it is stamped made in China.

Accurate and simple to use

I've checked it against my 6 foot level and it is bang on. Really easy to use when setting posts by yourself. The strap seems like it will break after not long but you can mount it with a screw or nail or just use an elastic or something else to attach it once the strap breaks so that is not a major concern of mine. I have not used it on metal posts to comment on the strength of the magnets but I don't think you will be disappointed in this product accuracy and ease.

Ok product

The pieces itself is solid and cheaper then same quality in stores. Has magnets too. Cons : the elastic (that is not much elastic) provided to snap around the hooks is the low link. It will dryup and break. Barley fit around a 4x4. I perfer the usual strechy tissue band with holes. At least it's easy to find in tissue stores and will fit any size.

Don't try and use this on 6x6 posts, it's best suited to rough estimations for 4x4's. But any decent tradesperson (if you're looking to buy) would just spend the extra to get a 4 foot or longer box-level.....

Perfect

This product did its job. I used it for my 6x6 treated wood post for my pergola. Yes the elastic that came with it is for a 4x4, it needs to be extended. I just added another elastic to it. Very happy with product.
