Great for the price.

It is light weight and aluminum not plastic. Ruled on one side in inches and cm. Great for home use.

Seems well made.

Perfect size for my stair project and couldn't find this size in any local stores. I even dropped it 10 feet on concrete and it did not damage it at all.

Very flimsy

You get what you pay for. Aluminum level was dinged up when I got it. It’s now flat enough to use for some work on the shop. I have a much more expensive one for accurate work. This is a minimal level. If you buy one I hope it’s not damaged in shipment.

Level is ok; packaging terrible

I have 8 or 10 levels, all shapes and sizes, various qualities. I needed a 36" level for a few tasks, and I needed it fast. This level may last long enough to complete these tasks, but it does not appear to be durable. Time will tell. Often, with cheap levels, the plastic housings for the level bubbles pop out of the aluminum frame fairly soon, but if this level lasts a few weeks, it'll be fine for my purposes. The main problem was the packaging (zero protection for a sensitive device that is easily broken) and the fact that there were 5 stickers affixed to the level which all left very sticky residue. One large sticker was wrapped around the level (there can't be anything on the upper and lower surfaces); the others were stuck into the recessed area on one side. I had to use a lot of Goo Gone, and getting all the residue off took 20 minutes. One sticker said SHIP TO AMAZON.COM in Riverside, CA. So some or all of the stickers were probably affixed by whomever sent their inventory to Amazon's warehouse.

Received bent

I have ordered this twice now and both times it has come bent. The 2nd time the packaging wasn't even damaged but the level is still bent.

Fulfillment faux pas

If you’re shipping department ever packs a level again make sure they put something around it. It’s a level. It’s delicate. Johnson level has a quality control stamp validating its accuracy. When it goes tumbling around in a box from the fulfillment center to delivery it could get damaged
