A little confusing to put on

The fabric of this cover is beautiful! Putting it on was a little tricky, but once on it looks pretty good. The only problem I had was with the straps that are supposed to attach to the back legs of the chair or in back of the seat. I can't get at them at all to tie them or attach them to anything. I have a lazy boy recliner and once it is put together, it's impossible to get at the back or bottom of the seat unless you have teeny tiny Barbie hands!! Adding on to this review, my boyfriend helped me figure out the straps mentioned above. We had to take the back of the recliner off to do it, but we did it. That makes the cover fit much better but I don't like the way the cover over the footrest fits at all. The chair always looks sloppy because the cover is very loose on the footrest and can't be tightened. I still like the cover and it is wearing well so far.

I've used, washed, and just put this back on the chair!

Have been using this slipcover for a few months now. We purchased two and I wanted to wait to see how they perform before I write a review. I just washed them for the first time today so I thought it would be a good time to review them. First of all they washed very well and look almost like new! We have a German shepherd and three cats in the house. They do not collect much hair from the pets at all. Of course there is some pet hair, but it's just not much of a problem for us. The cats jump up and off them, yet there are no snags at all. The fabric is very stretchy,yet feels good to my hands even when they are dry. (This is something I'm particular about.) The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that they have to be tucked in regularly. They are not for someone with OCD about such things. Overall they have given new life to my much loved swivel rocker recliners!

Doesn't fit well on an electric Lazy Boy recliner.

The sure fit part for mom's Lazy Boy electric recliner stretches way too much at the bottom, and constantly has to be adjusted. We've tried to pin it and adjust it but elastic placement doesn't match her chair. It still comes out at the bottom of the recliner as much as 12 - 14" and it's easy to trip over. A smaller one wouldn't go over the sides as they are actually too short on the sides and the pockets are unusable. There should also be a slit for the electric remote to move the chair. The jersey fabric is nice and of good quality and heavy enough but once you sit in the chair or move it the fabric moves and so the lines of the pattern always look strange. It is a bit slippery and we fear it will cause wear on the actual fabric. Her chair looks almost identical to the one shown in the picture.

Good for the Price

We have been using this slip cover for about 4 months now. It is very easy to put on and stays put well. It washes up nicely and dries fast. It is soft and comfy. The color is a slate blue, more grey than blue which is fine for me. The used recliner we bought looks much better thanks to this cover. On the down side, the fabric snags a bit and is wearing a bit on the seat. We are very hard on furniture, with four big dogs, four rambunctious grandchildren and two fully clawed cats. I expect to get a year out of this cover, but next time I would choose a twill. If you are easier on furniture, have fewer pets or don't use the recliner everyday, this cover is comfy and attractive. If you want something sturdy to handle abuse, I would recommend something heavier.

Great product!

Bought this product to cover well worn but still in great working condition recliners. Color and quality were as expected. Adjusts to fit my recliner perfectly. The well-placed elastic anchors really do the job to keep the cover from slipping out of place. Just 10 seconds of retucking needed after use! The only reason I gave this a 4 star and not 5 was that it was a little confusing putting on. Directions should tell you to locate elastic anchors before starting. The elastics had to be unknotted, and this was no easy task! Once we knew the location of the anchors and they were unknotted, it took about 5 minutes to install the cover. It has stayed in place quite well with just minor tucking.

Its like we have a brand new chair!!

Love it!! It stretches over the chair nicely. Stays in place very well. Love the color. Its like we have a brand new chair. We have a high back lazy boy that we didn't want to part with, but it is worn badly, this gave it a very nice makeover. The only complaint I would have would be that the seams in the arms of it came apart, making holes about the size of a quarter. Be careful stretching it, I think that's what created the holes. I sewed it and it's fine now. Other then that I still do love the cover.

Fits Great! ????????

I wasn’t sure what to expect as some slip covers don’t look quite right when they’re on. It fits our chair wonderfully, other than the arms of our chair flip up for storage and there’s a remote for massage that we can’t access the way we used to. Minor detail, it looks a lot better now!

Very impressed

I wasn't sure what to expect - furniture covers usually look like furniture covers and do not stay put - this cover looks amazing and stays where you put it - everyone that has seen the chair since we installed it has thought that we had it recovered - very impressed - only comment I have is that it could use an additional elastic strap across the base of the footrest - there is one where the footrest joins the chair, but the material was sagging a little around the actual footrest, so I added an additional strap to keep it tight - works great! Would definitely recommend and would buy again
