Great Value

Very pleased, it is attractive and works perfectly for my intended use. As others mentioned it was difficult to unroll and lay flat, so I reverse rolled it for a couple of days leaving it in my high humidity Florida garage which solved 99% of the problem. Even though it is light weight it stays in place well with the light traffic in its location. I was so pleased after a few days I purchased another one for a different location in my home. I recommend it highly if you are prepared to work with it a bit to lay flat….

Good rug with normal quality

Liked the mosaic design and got delivered as promised. The size was as specified but the only problem was even after 10 days the edges of the rug are not staying flat on the floor. Tried keeping the weights on the corners which didn't helped.

A Good Rug for A Big Space

I bought two of these rugs to put in the same room, and at first the pattern was almost dizzying, because the rug is much more vibrant than the images pictured. The colors are not muted tans, but warm autumn colors of gold, chestnut brown and stark black. After finding an arrangement I liked, however, the rugs are perfect for covering such a large area of the floor at a very good price. The rugs surprised me with their softness, but they do wrinkle a bit (only because I don't have a lot of furniture place on them. I think if I had heavier furniture the wrinkling would not be a problem.) I did not have any problems with curling edges, unlike other reviews. The price is excellent considering the rugs are new, but they do have an odor of "new rug" to them that doesn't fade as quickly as one would hope. I'm impressed that they are made in Egypt and so far have been very happy with them! Edit: Now several weeks later I am upgrading this review to a full 5 stars. The smell has faded, the rugs are even softer after having the chance to air out, and we just LOVE them. We spend more time in that room because of these rugs!

Better than I expected!

Bought this for under kitchen table, to protect newly finished wood floor. 8x10 size for a rectangular table that seats 6. It flattened out nicely after weighting it down with some books for a few days. While certainly not the quality of our real Persian rug in the living room, this is amazingly nice for the price. The colors are just like the close-up photos. Reminds me of all the chocolate/caramel/nougat colors in a candy bar. Enough black to go with the other black accents in our kitchen (appliances, wrought iron, etc). I did not get a pad, but did put some non-glue grippy strips on one side where there is the most foot-traffic. So far that is all that's needed. The back does not have that nasty rubber that tends to disintegrate. I like the geometric pattern which looks great with our cream-color walls and traditional but "moving toward contemporary" decor.

Never get the bumps out

They roll these carpets way too tight and in too much packing to begin with. It took me almost an hour to get packaging off but then more work trying to get this flat. Now it has bumps in it and I cannot get them to to flat and The outer edges had to be taped down :( So it's under my kitchen table now (not where it was NOT intended to go) If it doesn't flatten out I will throw it away. It's to hard to return bigger bulky items, unless it was worth a lot of $ then I would.

oky, but not so good

I order this for the hollway in the basment but up too now i can't make this rug fully flat . It came roll up very tide and still edges stick up. Is not soft but you get what you pay for . Not recomended
