It is ok
This was bought for a spare bedroom that the cats use most of the time to relax. The intention was to have something that looked good but that I was not worried about the cats making it their bed. It feels smooth, the thing that I am not too fond of is the pattern that is not embroidered but sort of silicone, for the price not bad at all.

I have been looking for some pure cotton duvet set for a while. I also got two vera wang brand sets. This set is a big surprise!I just Love it! It's comfy and neat!

Lovely Silver Gray Duvet!!
I pondered this purchase for quite awhile after reading the reviews. Then I realized a lot of the reviews were concerned with color. I decided to take a chance on it because it was a lovely design. I received the duvet today and I dressed my bed and with the all white decor the soft shades of silver gray and the floral spray make this duvet truly outstanding. The floral spray is strategically placed for maximum eye appeal. The buttons on the duvet are nicely hiddened in lower dark gray stripe so they are almost invisible and I did like that feature. If there is any drawback it would be it is only a 250 thread count. However since I would not be sleeping on it I really don't consider that the drawback I would if it were sheets. It is a beautiful duvet and I am very pleased with this purchased but you need to know it is most definitely shades of gray to white.

NOT EMBROIDERED.
Just received this in the mail, and not sure yet if I'm keeping it. One of the main selling points for me was that the duvet was advertised as being embroidered with a floral design. Instead, it just a stamped metallic silver design, which looks cheap in comparison with embroidery. I'm also not at all confident that the metallic paint that was used will last through many washes before it loses its luster. My take on the great color controversy is that the middle band is definitely more grey than any other color-- not particularly green or blue, which is another disappointment... I was actually hoping for a more aqua-grey.

Better than expected, elegant and understated
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The pictures don't do it justice. The leaves are a soft metallic silver and the shades of gray are elegant. The cotton isn't super soft, but it is adequate. I'm hoping it will soften after a few washes. Update: after several washes and regular use, i’m fairly certain this is not 100% cotton as it is pilling quite a bit. I wash in warm (not hot) and damp dry (to remove wrinkles) then finish by hanging. So, even though this is lively, I doubt it’ll last more than a year before I have to replace.

Soooo nice!
I’m definitely happy with the duvet set! I purchased the Cal King and it fit prefect with my goose down blanket. Even my boyfriend said it looked so good! It did have a funky smell when I opened but after I washed it the smell was gone. Otherwise, I love it!

This is just beautiful! Looks like luxury and feels so soft. Dont know what others mean by stiff. It is soft and luxurious on the skin. Very wrinkled on arrival, will need pressing for sure. I used a steam iron. You may be able to dampen it with a light water spray and tumble in the dryer if you dont iron.

NOT EMBROIDERED
Once again, when you buy crap from third party sellers you get ripped off. This was advertised as embroidered but all it was, was stamped laytex which has a cold rubbery feel to it. Not good.

The colour of the duvet set is subtle however I absolutely love it. I have silver accents in my master and this duvet cover blends in so well. I purchased the king duvet cover because I have a 15 inch mattress and box spring and I needed the extra width and it worked out excellent. I have been very happy with all my purchases from Amazon.
