Exactly what you need
I finally nailed down the issues with the old refrigerator in my garage, it was an old condenser fan that would no longer turn over. I found this very affordable replacement and figured I would give it a shoot. IT works fantastically, super easy to install, and the fridge is more efficient than ever! 5 Star

Perfect fit for our old Whirlpool fridge.
No directions but came with everything needed to install. Must use the screws supplied and splice in the connector from the old motor. Need proper tools and some experience.

Direct (but not exact) replacement for Maytag PTB2154GRW
This was an easy-enough replacement for my fridge: Maytag PTB2154GRW from 2003. Original motor was a GE 5KSM51AG. There was a 3-pin connector going to that motor. I cut off the connector and wired the two black wires from this motor to the orange and the blue wires bringing power in to old motor. I connected the ground (green/yellow stripe) wire to the body of the new fan where it attaches to one of the mounting arms. Easiest method was to unscrew the back and bottom screws where motor attaches to arms, then twist those arms out of the way and lift the motor and top arm out of its rubber mounting grommet. To reinstall, move fan blades to new motor and attach new fan to the top arm; slide it into the top rubber mounting grommet, then replace the other two screws. I had to use the screws that came with the new fan (different thread pitch). I knew the old one needed replaced because the area between the doors has been hot to the touch for quite a while--I didn't even realize I hadn't heard the old fan running (probably for close to a year--ouch. It's a testament to this old fridge that it's still working. If you can fix the old one cheap, don't buy a new one that will only last one third as long.) I rolled the fridge out to clean it and realized the compressor was running but the fan was not--it started when I spun it by hand, but it was going much slower than it should have been. This was a good investment for someone with any basic DIY skill. Don't forget to unplug the fridge before you start this repair.

Louder than stock fan. Works well, be careful with installation connections.
Louder than stock fan motor. Works well. Sounds a little like a jet when running.

Working like it is supposed to
Easy to install. Saved me more than a grand. Didn't need to buy a new fridge.

So far so good
It worked for my 22-year-old Amana SRD25s5w refrigerator. This motor has a higher RPM which makes the compressor run cooler to the touch, and I have less moisture in the fridge than before. My fridge had water condensation on the bottom of the doors every summer that I had to use a container to catch the droplets. I discovered the bad motor problem accidentally by the heat came from the hot door gasket and the metal strip at the center between the fridge and freezer. The old motor had to be span by hand, and it could not start by itself after stopping. It runs very slowly and sometimes wobbles. I tested the capacitor (located behind the fan motor, not attached to the compressor on this model) which is okay. I cut the 2 black wires from the old motor and spliced them to the new motor's 2 black wires with the 2 wire nuts (came with the motor). It was an easy job. Now, the interior of the fridge is dry and looks like new again, and the door gasket and the center strip are cool at all times. It's worth the effort and the money to replace the old motor. This motor seems to be in good quality, and the price is fantastic. I don't know how long will it last. But, it's been good so far.

Quite Efficient
This was a replacement condenser fan for a Maytag MTF2455DRB refrigerator. 1550 rpms definitely keeps the compressor cooler than the original fan that came with the Maytag refrigerator. Now if I can only get my brand new refrigerator a Samsung to work!

strong motor, works great even for 3 wire motors
Thought it wouldn’t fit because mine had 3 wires connected and this uses 2 but the reviews here helped me see that the third wire was a ground wire that was useless so I connected it to another ground and used the 2 included wires to hook this up, worked great, much more airflow and a bit more sound but idc, MAKE SURE TO CLEAN THE RADIATOR AND FINS UNDER THE FRIDGE!! The restriction from 20 years of dust is probably what overworked my GE fan and caused it to fail, I used a shop vac to blow it out and so much dust and lint came out that I’m sure this thing had NO airflow anyway. Anyway fridge works great now and motor turns on 10% of what it used to. Great value vs 250$ oem one that doesn’t blow as much air

It works, but it's much louder than OEM due to higher rotations per minute
My fan stopped spinning and the fridge got super hot and melted the water lines that were touching the condenser coil. The OEM fan was the same price elsewhere, but Amazon Prime could get it here next day for free. Wish I had gone OEM, the fridge is much louder as some other reviewers had stated. It stills runs a lot, so I can't say if the extra RPM is helping it turn off quicker. OEM fan was 1300RPM, this is 1550RPM. My sanity gives it 3 stars. Also not a fan of the wire nuts. The plastic water lines are likely to be the component that fails in a fridge. The water spray and wire nuts are not a good combination. I'm going to order some heat shrink and replace the wire nuts.
