Excellent gate but a few tips
We have searched for a sturdy gate that was wider than most on the market to fit in our RV between the coach side and the cockpit side. We have 2 large dogs, one of which insists on sitting in the lap of the human passenger, which doesn’t make for a comfortable trip for whomever is sitting in that seat. This gate fits the bill very well but I have three suggestions for anyone considering it: First, the gate is, in my opinion, quite sturdy. We were able to use the expansion panels so that there wasn’t a lot of play where the bolts extend to meet the wall, reducing the flex at that point quite a bit compared with other gates where those bolts had to be extended to the max. However, this gate is designed more for a semi-permanent kind of installation instead of one where the gate will be frequently installed, removed, then reinstalled (our need). Accordingly, the bolts that come with the gate screw into the expansion panels with a nut that is used to tighten the screw portion to keep the bolt length fixed. I took a drill bit slightly larger than the outside thread diameter of the bolts and drilled out the threads on the expansion panels so that the bolts would slide in and out without much play. That allowed me to quickly move the bolts into place and tighten the nut against the expansion panel. You may need to add a washer on the expansion panel side to make this work well but I happened to have the same size bolts from an old gate that had a quick release knob so I used them instead. Second, if you are not going to fix the gate in a semi-permanent fashion you may want to look at Wall Nanny Indoor Baby Gate Wall Protectors (or similar) to use as the wall receptacle for the pressure bolts rather than the hard plastic ones that come with the gate. Just a. thought. Finally, you may want to check the little screw receivers that are used to fasten the small screws used to attach the expansion panels to make sure they fit through the holes in the panels before you try to assemble an expanded gate. I discovered that several of the holes weren’t drilled quite large enough to accommodate the screw receivers and had to drill them out just a bit to allow the receiver to go through them. All in all, a good, sturdy gate, especially considering its length. I would buy it again.

I love this gate!
I have owned two of these gates for over 3 years. They are on the end of my covered porch to keep my big dogs from running off. They are great. They still look brand new, no rust, dirt, dents and they are outside year round. The gates are sturdy and easy to get through with groceries and anything else.

Works well and easy to install.
I have 3 large dogs, from 50 - 85 lbs. One of those dogs is a 1 year old and continues to go into a room that he's not supposed to and get into stuff he shouldn't. We have plans to put a French door in that room, but need a solution to keep him out of that room in the meantime. I had looked at some cheaper options, like mesh retractable baby gates, but the reviews said that the mesh rips or that dogs will just walk under it. So I knew I needed something sturdy. This is EXACTLY what I needed. Install took about 30 minutes. The design was well thought out. There is a little play in the gate but not enough to let the dogs mess it up or make it unstable. I can finally relax in the living room and not worry about him nosing around where he shouldn't. Worth the money!

Good, nice looking gate (using for dog)
When we first bought this gate, one of the ends was bent in and the door wouldn't swing. We stopped trying to assemble right away and contacted the Summer company for replacement parts. They couldn't replace individual parts, so they replaced the whole thing. Great customer service experience by this manufacturer! Once we had the new gate: I assembled and installed this pretty much on my own, but it was really helpful to have an extra pair of hands available for the final couple steps. Everything was together in an hour or less. We are using this at the top of our basement stairs to prevent our senior dog (45#) from falling down them when he loses his balance, and this is plenty sturdy for that. We've had no concerns of it waivering. It looks very nice, doesn't look cheap or poorly made at all. The only negative I have so far is that sometimes the door does not want to open and we have to pull up with a good amount of force. We don't use these stairs often so it isn't a major issue for us. Also I'm sure there could be a simple fix we could rig up if we were even slightly more motivated or mechanically inclined. We just haven't tried much. All in all I am very happy with this purchase!

Good baby gate
Installers a little more work than a basic baby gate but after drilling the things into the wall getting the gate set up it’s very sturdy. It won’t be going anywhere even if you have dogs and they get up on it.

It’s great. Easy to use but my three year old is too smart and figured it out after three days. He has difficulty lifting it up but can do it if he tries really hard. Wide enough for the area I needed and doesn’t feel flimsy at all.

Lo mejor es que está super bien pensado para que el niño no se agarre los dedos en ningún momento, en mi casa quedo muy bien, no es muy fácil de instalar, si tuve que contratar ayuda.

Excelente producto!! Super rápidala entrega. Instalarla fue muy sencillo y se ve muybonita a la entrada de mi sala. La usamos para evitar que nuestro perro moleste a las visitas. Se ve super y funciona super!

Esta reja es facil de montar, siempre y cuando tengas las herramientas. Es muy bueno para evitar que perros pasen a lugares no deseados... todavía no se si funciona con niños.
