Too stiff
These are extremely hard to open. The keep the baby from getting the door open, but they also keep every one else from opening the doors too. I do like that they don’t damage the doors like the kind that stick on. It’s almost a good design, but it is just too stiff and hard to use

Had to modify
They work but hard to move the handle to the door. Catches/rubs on the plastic when mom and dad try to open the door. We modified a bit so it doesn’t catch as much.

Didn't last long.
After about a month of using the part you squeeze to move the lever is starting to break. The plastic is also worn enough that my 3 year old can move the lever from locked to unlocked. This item did not last long.

Will break
We are on our third pack of three now. I keep buying more because I know they fit on our particular doorhandles but in time the plastic does snap and that is very frustrating.

No damage childproof lever locks
We needed a product that did not adhere to our doors because we didn’t want to ruin them. I hated this product when I first received it. We were keeping it, but I was so bummed at how difficult it seemed to unlock the lever lock. However, we have had these on for awhile now and can now use them with one hand. I think it just takes some “breaking in”/getting used to the product.

Fits "most"
We used this for about a year every day ( several times a day) before the plastic started cracking. I replaced it with the same brand. They work great for lever door handles. They take noticable effort to squeeze and open, our younger kids are unable to do it. I had to trim some of the door handle ring to get them to fit exact, but it was a 5 minute job to trim it and maybe 5 more to get the finicky screws in and out of the door handle.

These work
These do the job. We bought our doorknobs at Menards and these don’t fit them correctly but with a little tweaking we made them work. They are hard to open (almost annoyingly hard) you have to really push so I’m not worried about my little one opening any doors. I do wonder if these will leave marks on my door because when you push the safety latch it kinda flings into the door hard. I didn’t want to buy anything that screwed or glued to my door so overall I’m happy with my purchase and I feel like they will keep my little adventurers out of where they shouldn’t be.

Works but doesn’t last long
Got this in May for $11 CAD. Used it on the door to our basement (which we frequent about once daily). It lasted until November and then it snapped. So…for the price it was ok given that it did work but it only lasted 6 months. And now it’s another piece of plastic destined for the dump. Would I purchase it again? No. We just bit the bullet & bought a proper keyed lock & lever for the door instead for $60. Would I recommend it? Probably not. The new lock, while expensive, will be used for a few years and then resold or reused elsewhere. This thing, while inexpensive, is now useless after just 6 months. Does it work? Yes. Just don’t expect it to last long.
