Bought this battery just over three years ago. I got this one because it wasn't NiCad and would hopefully hold a charge. The 20xP light i bought it for is used very little so I was hoping this battery would hold a charge longer than the NiCad ones I have purchased (many times). About a year and a half ago I noticed it wasn't holding a charge but since I used it so sparingly I kept charging it. Now, it doesn't hold a charge for more than a couple of weeks. I also purchased a Streamlight brand battery thinking it would be the best. Very disappointed.

Great Replacement Battery Stick for the Streamlight Ultrastinger!
This is a great replacement for the original Nickel Cadium battery stick that normally shipped with every Ultrastinger flashlight. I was looking for a replacement for my Ultrastinger after the original battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore (I only had it 10 years since I bought it..lol). Anyway I read from other posts that this battery stick was recommended vs the original one because of the performance and battery life. After waiting a while for Amazon to ship it I was very impressed at the way it packaged in a protective plastic casing. I could say with absolute certainty that the dimensions of this battery stick are the same as the original so it's guaranteed to fit. After having it for a few weeks I can say that it holds it's charge very well and I have yet to actually fully charge it since it came full when I replaced the original for it. All in all it's worth the money for such a quality part for your Ultrastinger.

The battery sticks are not a perfect fit for my standard Ultra Stingers even though Streamlight says they are.
One of the battery sticks was damaged on arrival. One cell had a dent in it and whether or not the dent will affect the service life of the battery only time will tell. The battery was either damaged at the factory or damaged during packaging because the shipping container showed no signs of damage. The battery sticks are not a perfect fit for my standard Ultra Stingers even though Streamlight claims this battery fits both the Ultra Stinger and the Ultra Stinger LED. These battery sticks are slightly longer than the standard stick and prevent the end cap from being closed tight enough to be sealed by the "O" ring. See dented cell in picture and the end caps of my two flashlights. The end cap with the tape has an old standard battery and seals completely where the end cap with no tape has the new Nickle-Metal-Hydride battery and cannot be screwed down and sealed properly. My flashlights are no longer as tightly sealed as before and for this reason I give this product an average rating.

Replacing battery for my ultra stinger LED, it fits as it should, didn't want to use aftermarket battery..

I used a knock off battery before and I was extremely disappointed as it didn't hold a charge that long and it needed to be replaced after a relatively short amount of time. The difference is night and day now that I'm using this real Streamlight battery. The charges hold much longer and I haven't noticed a degradation in the almost 1 year that I've had it. Stick to the real Streamlight battery, it'll save you money in the long run.

Great product - Workes in my Ultra Stinger
I have an Ultra Stinger that is probably about 5 years old. This battery works great and I am very happy with it. I figured it would be at least twice the price of the Ni-Cad. I am super happy with this battery. It came in a sweet little protective tube and had a very nice protective cover for both the tube and the battery terminals. I may get another one just to keep charged as a spare in my Jeep.
