just what my flashlight needed. maybe these could be made of silicon. they dont seem to last ( dry up and crack )

Part fits like a glove. Previous original part broken and this is a good fit and brings back the non rolling capabilities for my inspection lamp.

I have purchased several of these rings. I do not use flashlight often. After a few months, I will go to use it and the ring just falls out, broken.

doesn't seem to last very long

I'm not unhappy with this item, I just wish it would last longer. This is the second anti-roll ring (this same item) I have bought in about two years. The original one lasted 3 or 4 years. The replacement seems the same as the original, perhaps with slightly smaller nubs (or whatever you call them) on the part of the ring that is supposed to suppress rolling. I wish the ring was a little larger. If my first purchase has lasted longer I would have given a higher rating. I live in a area that has very high humidity from May through November, so maybe that is contributing to the apparent dry-rot of my two year old ring. The original ring never showed any dry-rotting, it just broke one day. I think I will give this ring a good rub-down with some vaseline before I install it. I use my flashlight every night for about 10 minutes to walk around my property before retiring for the night. If I still have the flashlight when this one wears out, I will probably buy this same anti-roll ring again. If this ring lasts longer than first one, I will raise my rating for the next purchase.
