Wish it had more workmanship

While I love damasks, and the gradation of the gray colors is really pretty, I wish the stitching on the quilt were actually more quilt-like. This quilt is stitched with big squares which I know from past quilts that kind of stitching doesn't hold up to wear and tear. I wish it would have had tight stitching all over it, you know, like a quilt. I like that it is cotton because it won't pill. Nothing is worse than fabric that pills. Overall, it is a nice blanket but could have been so much more.

Pretty nice comforter and pillow shams

Very pretty design, fits queen bed perfectly. I love the colors, gray is my favorite decor color! It is very thin and very light weight. Well made with high quality, durable fabric. I do recommend, as long as you're looking for a thin comforter set! This is not meant for the dead of winter!! Comes with 2 matching pillow shams. Very comfortable.

Too warm

Very warm. Plan on using this on very cold nights. The pillow cases remind me of placemats. I prefer a cooler fabric for pillows.

This is a great set.

This is a great set and I like how pretty and girly it is in my bedroom. I like how comfortable and soft it is. I recommend it and would also like to say that it is so comfy and keeps me warm.

Nice quality, thinner quilt that feels durable, but the pattern looks printed.

The quilt set by Stone Cottage, is a nice bedding set overall, with good quality that’s on the thinner side making it great for those summer nights. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It feels like it’s made well, but only in the middle level of the quality scale. I would guess it should hold up decent over time. II. Usability – It works great as a thinner cover for warmer climates or during the summer. The fabric is comfortable and semi soft, but it’s not going to wow you with softness. The print on the top looks oddly printed onto it. It’s hard to describe and still looks decent, but it’s something I thought about when first looking at it and don’t really like. Overall, this might be a great set for some people, if you need a thinner grey set and you love the design. I was disappointed at the print and lack of softness, but will still pull it out if its needed. I’ll also be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Different, but nice.

We are a quilt-using family and use quilts as our blankets. As long as I can remember we have used synthetic quilts filled with polyester. This quilt does not fill that bill, yet it was strangely familiar. This quilt's outer shell is 100% cotton. It is reversible with two different prints. The prints don't impact the softness of the quilt. Cotton feels very nice, but it is a different type of feeling than synthetic. It is strangely comforting. The batting is also different. It is not the thick high pile that I'm used to. Rather, it is somewhat stiff and dense. It is mostly cotton with a little polyester mixed in. The warmth level of this quilt would be between lightweight and medium weight. On cold nights I could see using an extra blanket. The construction seems good, and it is machine washable. This latter fact is important to my family because we use quilts as blankets so they get washed more often. So what is so familiar with this quilt? It brought me back to my grandparents' house. They would this type of quilt as a bedspread. Below it would be a wool blanket and below that there was a top sheet. On rare occasions, I would sleep over and this is a pleasant memory. Also, if you are familiar with homemade quilts, this one is similar. Not as far as the handiwork is concerned, but rather in the feel. After sleeping under this quilt for a few nights I can definitely say that I like it.
