Perfect protection and comfort

Work in construction and trucking. These are comfy and protective without being hard to move in. The steel toe holds up and the boots look good too. They do run just a tad wide/big but nothing too extreme. My foot doesn’t move around enough to even trade them in for a different size, just a heads up though, you might wanna down size 1/2 a size. :) Definitely worth every penny!

My husband won't wear any other boot

He says this particular style of Rocky is all he can wear. BUT for over $200 the pull stap on the back should not break the first time it's used. I ordered a pair and it broke right off. Returned them for another pair and the same thing happened. He needed boots so he just kept the second pair but I think it's ridiculous.

Good boots

Good boots, it's taking some work to break them in but they're really holding up well so far. They're a little snug even with the wide size, I'm still hoping the break in a little more and soften up a bit. My pair arrived with a small dent in the steel toe on one of the boots but not so bad that its pinching. Overall though good boots - tough leather, solid soles and comfortable enough.

Possibly the best boots

Im wearing my 11th pair of these boots now. I work in a truck repair shop by day and farm by night and the boots have not disappointed. In the past i've contacted Rocky coustomer service about buying genuine replacement insoles and they shipped me a free pair right away. I never expected that since the boots were 14 months old! Update, I just my purchased my 14th pair and I still think they may be one of the best on the market. Normally, I like made in USA but they switched production about 11 years ago so, I looked for other options. No body has a USA made boot wih steel toe, Gore-Tex and Thinsulate. Yes, there a a difference between "waterproof" and Gore-Tex. The USA competitor waterproofs the leather and at the end of a snow covered day your feet are wet. Mine only get wet when I walk in water that is higher than the boot.

So far a good boot.

Was in the market for another brand. But, that brand was sold out. Decided to give these Rocky Ranger ST a try. I have had the boot for a month and the fit is great, and so far is holding up good. We shall see in a few more months.

Great boot! My husband has worn this style for years!

My husband is a construction worker, and has worn boots for many years. He has tried different brands, styles, etc. and these are his favorite by far! They are good quality, last longer than other boots he has tried, and they are the most comfortable for him to wear. He has worn this particular style for the last 4-5 years. (He has gone through more than one pair over the years, but he wears them 5-6 days a week for 45-60 hours a week.) He is so happy with this style/model # that I bought (2) pair the last time I purchased these so he would have an extra pair in case Rocky decides to discontinue these! (Also, in the past, if the boots have a defect within the first year, Rocky will replace them if you keep your receipt! Talk to Rocky manufacture and NOT Amazon...)

Great boot...but a bit narrow.

Very well made boot, great looking, high quality rubber sole with Vibram technology...but just a bit too narrow at the toe box for my foot, even if it is a a 13 Wide size. Not all 13 Wide work boots are made the same, you have to try many different brands to find best fit and best brand for your foot. Took me 5 try before finding the best boot for my feet.
