Rugged boots for sure

Still breaking mine in so they still hurt a little bit, but I use thick socks and it’s made a big difference. Hiking through marshes my feet stayed nice and dry. I’ve seen one snake so far this spring, so I might get a chance to test out the snake bite proof part yet.

Overall satisfied

I ordered wide boots and they are, the toe box may be big because the boots are run about a 1/2 size larger. These boots are made of quality material and are a bit stiff, but I expect them to break in fairly quickly. I will be adding a gel insole, so the extra size may actually be beneficial. The sole is a bit more firm than I ideally like, but I personally like a softer sole than a lot of other people, insoles should take care of this and add arch support.

Still good after high mileage

I bought a size 10W pair for hiking in desert/mountains around my home. I thought they were pricey and probably not going to be comfortable enough for the long hikes, including long climbs, mostly off trail, that I do - but I also felt really uncomfortable due to the mohave rattlers out here (even though in all my hikes and miles, I've only ever seen 1). I've now put hundreds of miles and many thousands of feet of elevation gain on them. They are not quite as comfortable as my hiking boots, but are not bad at all. I thought I might wear the tread off and have to re-buy ever year of so, but the soles have held up incredibly well, unlike... I also got a pair of the "no laces-zip up" Rocky boots as well, which were cheaper, but really hard to get on/off, and worse - the tread wore away quickly (has a difference sole than the Lynx), now smooth and slick. Don't wear them anymore.

Great For Ultra Rugged Terrain

Work this boot on a few accounting trips now and one hunting trip they do run narrow so I recommend getting a wide size and they have a good break in period other than that great boot! I live in the PNW and these are great for our rough and wet conditions haven’t experienced a single slip or fall even hiking up muddy creek banks and my feet have stayed warm and dry every time I wear these!

They came on time .!!

Wow these are the best Rockies yet . I have another pair they are great but I got a small hole and my feet get wet . But these I laced them up and I got big calf muscles and was still able to unzip them and take them off and put them back on and I was Wareing blue jeans . So this pair Rocks love them ...

Size not what I ordered

I like the quality of the boots but I ordered a 10 1/2 W and received a 10 1/2 M. The left boot fits okay and the right one put pressure on my ankle where the boot bends. I didn't notice the size difference until after i wore them.

Proper function

Over all they are great boots and made well. The only drawback my fiancé has is that they are a little stiff at the ankle area . He is hoping that this will subside after a breaking in period

Better expected after reading comments.

These are fringing awesome!!! I order a size bigger to fit a waterproof inner just in case we have to walk through water at times. But for staying dry in the rain and ankle deep mud, not really test yet, so they could be fine.

Comfortable and waterproof

Only worn twice so far but I’m very boggy wet terrain. They are perfect so far.
