Toothbrush cover
When I bought these I did not realize they have a tablet that is sealed to keep the brush sanitized. I can't speak to how well that works but I can say it does cover the brush with a hole for the neck of your toothbrush so water can drain off. I am not sure I'd buy these again as I am looking for a permanent cover and one I don't have to replace when the tablet is gone and one I can rinse and wash. You can't submerge these in water, or rinse off and they smell funny when you first buy them. I may have to discard my first one as I washed it off trying to remove the smell and then read where you can't submerge it and would assume rinse it. It is leaking and they say to discard if it does. You also have to rinse your toothbrush before each use, which I do anyway. I can't recommend these not because they don't work but it seems too much trouble to maintain for me. For others it may work perfect.

The smell is real.
I started looking for a new type of toothbrush protector when I found mold growing in my last one. YUCK! ….and I change both the brush and covers out frequently! It goes without saying that this brush and protector went straight into the garbage. When I found “Steri” pods I thought it might prevent something like this from happening. Time will tell, but my initial impressions are: At first glance they looked just like my old one, but when I opened it up, I could see ….and SMELL the difference. The smell made me nervous, but I now know that the steri-pod’s “scent” is intentional and its supposed to keep the toothbrush “fresh” I think it has a very “chemical” scent…(none of the scent has transferred to my brush) Due to a medical condition I brush frequently and have at least 3 places in my home where I keep brushes and paste (lots of brushes to protect) I bought enough covers to last 6 months (changing them out every 3 months as recommended) I have not had the mold issue with any other cover so I think it was the fact that that brush/cover was located in a very small bathroom that steams up a lot and probably got condensation inside. I am watching it like a hawk and will be interested to see if the “active vapors” actually help prevent this from happening again.

Just what I was looking for
The protectors are individually sealed in separated packaging, keeping the second one sterile if you aren't using both right away. The weighting is perfect for laying a toothbrush down and the clips keep the head elevated as a stand. My Oral-B electric toothbrush fits perfectly in it without the bristles touching the edges when set down. The color options are as described even if amazon shows the wrong picture at check out.

Weird taste, but effective.

Unless you like the smell of moth balls or a very harsh chemical avoid this! Total waste of money. There’s a chemical inside that can be removed with force but it’s been in the plastic for so long the smell is imbedded inside. Again, shop elsewhere

Décevant, forte odeur désagréable!
Je n'ai jamais reçu un article sentir aussi fort le chimique où je ne sais trop quoi. J'ai fais trempé 24 heures dans le vinaigre, rien à changé ensuite dans le vinaigre et bicarbonate encore là, aucun résultat concluant. Je ne mettrai aucune brosse à dent dans ça, c'est certain que ça goûtera ce que ça sent, car ça sent fort! Vraiment déçue
