it seemed very good to me
Found the bearing in this flat pulley worn when tuning up my mower deck. This is not an original equipment pulley. However, it may be of higher quality; it seemed very good to me. Whenever you have your mower off the tractor, it would be a good idea to check both flat pullies for bearing wear. With two new spindles and one new flat pulley my mower makes a good deal less noise than the engine on my John Deerea LA115 garden tractor and with new wheels and sharpened blades it cuts smooth as a dream.. PS This is also a good time to check the brakes on each V pulleys that mount to the mower blade spindles. This is my second deck on my LA 115 John Deere garden tractor. On both decks, the factory setting wore out one of the brakes long before the other was worn. If you adjust them so they both engage at the same time, it will stop the mower blades better and keep the wear even. These brakes are required by federal law to stop the mower blades rapidly anytime the mower is stopped. *Helps to keep foolish people from losing fingers and toes.

Made here, that I like! Great product, better than OEM John Deere, theirs had some play in the bearing, this one 0 (zero) play. What else can I say, I would go for this one every time.

Very stiff bearings not free spinning at all.
Don’t buy these. I purchased 2 of them and both have cheap bearings with which I can assume have no grease. I installed on my John Deere tractor and burned off 2 belts within one hour of use each. The pulley doesn’t free spin and is very stiff causing lots of heat to the belt which in turn wrecked my brand new belt.
