Works on my Troy-Bilt

Replaced two front tires on a troy bilt push mower. Works great, easy to install.

The tire is tubeless, yet not solid rubber, there is a cavity of air inside the tire. Just the same as any tire of this part number, would have liked it better if the grooves for traction were deeper. Will probably get years of use from it, and when it does wear down flat / near flat, I will more than likely set a table saw blade out from the table saw at 1/16 of an inch to cut a few lines into the rubber to get another year out of the tire. At 25 dollars for just one tire, and that tire being the one driven by the self propelled mechanism , I had hoped the grooves would be more dominate for gripping the surface it is moving over. The item bought here on amazon for 25 a tire is the best found anywhere online, even the troy bilt website for factory direct buying is more expensive than buying it from this seller on amazon, tires arrived very fast and was well packaged also. If you need these tires you can't wrong buying them here. just keep in mind that you will probably need new carter pins when installing these new tires onto your mower = just a reminder for those that will purchase and change their tires. Luckily my neighbor had a cotter pin assortment that he was able to let me get two off of him with no charge. Nice having neighbors that are friends as well. Thank You , Don

They were delivered

Amazon thinks these haven't been delivered, but they were before Amazon thinks they should have been. Probably the last available wheels for my old original Troybilt lawnmower.

Restore front wheel drive traction for your bald mower wheels.

My Troy-bilt mower from the early 90s uses these wheels and I was pleased to find Stens still offering aftermarket replacements, for a reasonably price, I might add. The rim is made of metal and has the "Double D" bore.

Lawnmower Drive Traction Returns

I was glad to be able to get these for my 27 year old Troy Bilt- Bolens mower. This mower is built like a tank and only has needed routine maintenance and a one drive belt replacement all these years. My front wheels were ground smooth though.
