Very handy item for drying a few things

Worked great on vacation to stretch out on the hotel balcony. The clips made it handy to clip to the railing on one end and on the other end, I wrapped around a towel bar the hotel had intalled and clipped it back on itself. Great being able to slip clothing into the bungee twists to hold them to dry. Only downside is that it won't hold too much or heavy things like wet towels because it stretches too much. Was perfect for a bathing suit, swim trunks, and a t-shirt.

Awesome travel essential

I had a much more lightweight version of these items that I got at a camping store. It was sufficient to hang out maybe a T-shirt or a washcloth to dry but if you had something heavy like a wet sweatshirt or a heavy wet terrycloth towel, my previous version was just not substantial enough to hold it up. This item rocks. We took it to Alaska with us where every single day every article of clothing that we owned was sopping wet. It is super strong and easy to use. You just wrap it around the tree or a pole or the towel bar in your hotel room and clip it back onto itself. Stretch it across the room and you have an instant close line to hang things that you need. We have even used it to decorate our campsite by hanging flags from it. In addition, because it is a heavy weight bungee, we also used it to stabilize the bike wheel on our bicycle rack on our car so that it wouldn’t spin. It is just a handiest think you can imagine.

Well made for long term car camping

This close-line is over the top well constructed. The spiral bungee cord and clips looked pretty cheaply made in the picture, but on the advice of other reviews I decided to give it a shot. I have more than a few Coghlan's products, and the brand has been hit or miss, but I am very happy with this clothesline. So the first question is why would I need one of these. I use it for car camping, when I am going to be gone for more than a few days to keep the amount of clothes I have to bring to a minimum. If you are an occasional overnight car camper, you probably don't need one of these. But for people who spend weeks on the road, and want to make doing road laundry less of a pain this is worth it. Paracord, webbing, anything else will soak up the water, and then you will have to dry it out later, and that slows you down. This stays dry, and takes no time to set up and take down. Anything to make car camping a bit easier helps your overall mood a lot. Before I was just hanging laundry up on my hammock line, but I would end up soaking the webbing through and having to dry that out later. Sometimes if it over soaked it would run some water down and soak the ends of my hammock. I also have used paracord, but this way just saves me a bit of time tying knots. This line does not soak up water and dries easily. It also stretches way further than you would expect (see attached photo). I have this paired with myScrubba Portable Laundry System Wash Bag , although that system has a few problems of its own. A simple dry bag would work, until someone makes a system that is truly better. I would really recommend this clothesline for anyone who does a lot of car camping.

A wonderful travel accessory!

Bring it along on every trip we take. A great tool to hang wet or damp clothes to dry when you sleep. I also use it for a stretching tool for my muscles after a long hike.

Excellent Clothesline for the road warrior as well as campers!

This is an excellent clothesline, no clothespins required. I travel for business, and use one of these for drying wool socks and high performance underwear :). I usually carry two of them to get enough length to stretch across a hotel room. Sometimes you need some extra length to find sturdy mounting points in a hotel room. Each one of these is good for an 8-12 foot span.

an essential for travelling

Bought for using during second mandatory government red list internment hotel the fact you can adjust the length makes this an essential piece of Kit. small items can be secured by opening the twist in the rope. if you have to hand wash then you need one of these

An essential camping item

Works great. I have a few of them. They're absolutely essential items for camping. We hang everything from them to dry (sleeping bags, dishes in a ditty bag, garbage bags, etc.) Very sturdy and lasts for years.

Cord is good but clips are very stiff to open..

.. Therefore its easy to open them as wide as you may like to fit around a branch, pole etc
