Great for fabric Collage

Works really well- I purchased the 12” roll and feel the 18” would provide less waste. 12” width is just a smidge small most of the time for me

A quilters staple ,always useful

This product is always a great one for any quilter or crafter . It works wonderfully every time. The fact of having such a large roll makes my ideas come together faster than if I had to go shopping each time I wanted some ,and figuring out how much to purchase at that time (well I always buy to little ) I just have to open my box and start working on my project

Be sure whether you want the light or full version

I can't sew without this stuff. But there is a light version I do not find helpful. Make sure you're ordering the one you need. The light one might be better for clothing or a bed quilt. I'm doing art quilts and I want it to really stick, hence the original.

Great product

Using Steam-A-Seam2 is not new to me, I’ve used it for many years. I bought a different product and instantly regretted it so I ordered the 40-yard roll. It will keep me going for a while and no more short cuts for me.

Why does it smell so awful?

**EDIT: This product has continued to smell 3/4 weeks later. I contacted the specific seller I bought through on amazon and they said because I'd used some of the product it couldn't be returned or exchanged. They also said they spoke to the manufacturer and nothing could be done. I then called The Warm Company directly (the company who manufactures this product). The Warm Company has not only offered to send me an entirely new product they will be shipping me a return box and label as well and were willing to send a driver to pick up my return if I was unable to go to a drop off location. This company has been a pleasure to work with and I truly appreciate their willingness to fix this issue. As I've stated below I've worked with Steam and Seam 2 in the past and never had an issue, so I'm thankful to The Warm Company for righting their wrong. I'll be buying all my Warm Company Products directly from their website from now on. Plus it's cheaper there. ** I have used steam a seam products for a few years now. This is the third batch I've bought and the smell is horrendous. It was giving me a headache right after I opened the box. When ironing onto my fabric, I had to open the window and my fabric now has a lingering odor as well. When friends came over they even asked what the smell was in my house and said it smells like formaldehyde. I sincerely hope this is a one time thing and not a new trend for this product. I will have to consider a different product if future batches continue to smell awful! The overall functionality of steam a seam 2 is great though. Its adhesive is great and easily sewn through. The product would have received a 5 star rating if not for the overwhelming smell.

Great product!!!

Bought the Steam-A-Seam in bulk, since I am in the middle of several products that require a bit of this product. It was, for me, a better deal than buying small packs. Also, having the product on the roll, allows larger pieces to be placed and not to be pieced onto several sheets. This is a great product, soft and leaves the fabric soft and pliable, not stiff and bulky. No problem with needles getting all gummed up, either. If you are a crafting person, and want to applique, this is a dream.

Typically I like this stuff

I think I had a bad batch....some ironed on areas would not peel off at all except in little hard to peel pieces. Very disappointed. I love using this product for my collage fabric art quilts.

Good Product

I use this both for sticking material together and also for gluing the layers I put on handmade cards. It works well and gets through the postal system without any of the elements moving like some glues do. Highly recommended!
