Works like it should.

Installed easily, as per instructions, and it works exactly as it is supposed to. I ordered an extra receiver so I would have one for upstairs and downstairs. We have decided that we can’t live without it. No disappointments here.

No more surprise visitors.

Easy set up. Purchased extension cord get more further reach to hide transmitter. Buried cable, added battery, set up receivers. One in bed room and one in living room. No more surprises from mother-inlaw or unwanted guests. Would highly recommend!!!

Easy to install. It just plain works.

We added a second receiver for upstairs. All that was necessary was to set the dip switches the same as the driveway transmitter. Being somewhat deaf, if I don’t hear it, Joe the dog does, and he sure lets me know when someone comes up the drive. Mighty Mule says the range is 400’, but our transmitter is over 600’ down the drive, and works every time.

Long time user

I’ve used this product for several years now and it’s about 95% reliable for letting you know when a vehicle comes in range. I ordered a second unit to go on the side of our wide driveway to see if it will catch 100% of traffic. I’ve never had a false alarm. I also added 2 additional base stations (3 total now) so you can not miss hearing an alarm. I would have given them 5 stars if they would offer a WiFi version so you could get alerts to your phone.

I recommend the purchase.

Love it! My mother has had hers for years, and it has worked really well for her. I decided to get one too since I have been working from home. It works very well. I purchased two more receivers so I can have one in the great room, one in my home office, and one outside on our covered deck. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because I’m not sure it picked up a service man in a smaller truck, but it could have been my hearing which isn’t what it used to be. However, the alarm is really loud, but it can be adjusted.

A product that works as advertised!

I love our Mighty Mule driveway sensor. We have a long driveway and before I installed this we never knew if someone was arriving until they rang our doorbell or just dropped off a package. Now we have advance notice of a vehicle arriving. Installation was very easy and I had to adjust the sensitivity to the lowest setting because of false signals when trucks came by on the road 75 feet parallel to the driveway. Now it works perfectly and it's been over a year and haven't had to change the batteries yet. Great item!

Just. Plain. Works.

This device does its job well. We now never miss a car or truck coming up the driveway. Haven't even had to change the batteries yet and it's been many months since we got it. I do believe the extra receivers are overpriced (we needed 3 receivers scattered throughout our big house). They seem to be made of cheap plastic and are relatively lo-tech. But they work all the time and haven't failed yet.

OK for small areas, but the volume is not loud enough for a large area.

The manufacturer is not thinking out of the box. The receiver alarm is not loud enough, for a average size home. If you have the need for two alarms, there is also not a provision to change the alarm sound. Adding versatility to the alarm units will give the customer better options. The manufacturer should also consider offering a repeater module to extend the alarm signal to remote receivers.

Excellent product.

Wish I knew about this a long time ago. Protection and security in an easy package! Quick to install, easy to calibrate. And we have to turn the sensitivity down, it's so strong! Marvelous!

this alarm works awesome!!!!!! we have 1 base in the house and 1 in the garage so whenever someone drives in our yard we can hear them. The sound can be heard throughout the house. It was super easy to install and you cannot see any indication that it is there as you drive in. Wonderful

2nd base unit

I added this base unit to my driveway monitor for the shop. the original unit works perfect and I wish i ordered it a long time ago. I am unable to get this unit to work. I have tried all different dip switch settings and moved it to other locations. So far it still is not working. I might have to send it back.
