Loved it so much I bought a second one!

By far my favorite wooden spoon. The shape is great for cooking and cleans up really well. I use some Howard Butcher Block Conditioner to keep them looking like new.

One spoon to rule them all.

I absolutely love this spoon. It's sturdy, long handled, and it actually has enough of a bowl to be used as a spoon instead of a paddle. It is shaped just right to fit the wall of a dutch oven. And of course... it's beautiful, both the shaping of the piece and the material itself. I love it so much that I immediately bought another one for a friend and then went on a hunt to find the matching wooden spatula, which is also beautiful and very thoughtfully designed.

Best spoon by a big margin against many others. But, Olivewood???

This is a beautiful spoon to be sure. Those who’s reviews mention it perfect balance point, weightyness, proportions, size & quality are spot on. I agree with several mentions that this could easily be an heirloom piece. I’ve been on a fairly exhaustive “spoon quest“ after burning through crappy wooden implements over the years as I’ve progressively learned to cook. I want “the spoon to rule all spoons”. Never been so picky about a damn spoon before, but I’m tired of buying “eh this’ll do...” to have them break or have idiosyncrasies that affect the cooking process. I’m on the hunt for that familiar feeling tool that I’ll still be reaching for in 20 years. If that’s what you’re looking for too, buy this spoon... i don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied. In search of a wooden cooking spoon with form & function I’ve been to Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel, Williams & Sonoma & Bed Bath & Beyond. I’ve got no credentials, not a chef & I don’t LOVE cooking. Just a busy mom of 3 that does a loooot of cooking. It’s grunt to get through the nightly dinner process. I need things that can counted on to perform. Guess I’m just sooo tired of getting what I’ve paid for that $25 is starting to look reasonable, if it’s really gonna stick. This spoon right here... I think it might just be the perfect spoon. My only point of contention is the one I received doesn’t look like olivewood. There’s zero variation in the grain. This spoon is unlike every other piece of olivewood I have, nor does it reflect the pictures I’ve seen in other reviews. I’m going to exchange it.... never though I’d say something like like this, but I think I love this spoon!!! Ps: I’ll update in a few months once I’ve broken it in if my experience doesn’t reflect my review.

Don’t Overlook This!

The spoon speaks for itself we’re just along for the wonderful cooking experience. As the description says Each one is pecial no two tools are alike due to the natural variations in wood grain. The look and feel is just wonderful. The spoon gets 5 ⭐️‘a and Amazon gets 4 stars ⭐️’s because they sent me a used spoon, but sent me a replacement which was in its original package.
