Listing description is incorrect, product is actually made in China, not made in France like it says on Amazon. Product is well built but I was misled into thinking it was made in France.

Finally a place for the heavy pot lid

There’s never a good place to put a very hot, very heavy, cast iron Dutch oven lid. This solves that problem. It’s heavy enough to support the lid without falling over. When not holding a lid it can also hold a cookbook.

Love it! Most used item in the kitchen!

Love this!!!! Works on all the lids I have, Staub, Tfal, generic brands, etc. No more worring about damaging counter tops, or even the condensation spill. The tray catches the condensation and keeps my counter tops clear. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but this sucker is heavy and won't tip over. Very sturdy. Highly recommend!!!!

I needed this.

Great tools that I needed when using my Staub and lodge lids. The cast iron lids are a pain to decide where to set aside when their hot and dripping with water . This solves the problem.

good, heavy, small, needs washing

Its pretty effective. Its solid and heavy which is good. However, its surprisingly small. I use it to hold the Staub crepe pan with the long handle, and it seems its only 20% the height of the pan. So there is a lot sticking out. When you use it with a lid, any liquids or juices, those liquids will drip down and accumulate into the plastic. So it needs to be taken out and washed occasionally. Its also a little expensive. I use some cheaper lighter lid holders more often.

Didn’t know I needed this!

This staub works for all my lids from various makes. It is heavy and well made. Should have had this years ago. This item is priced way lower than the other Staud option but it is exactly the same model. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

Should have bought this a loooong time ago!

Like all Staub products, it really is fantastic quality. No way will it scratch any surface and as others have said, it holds all lids, not just Staub. The silicone drip tray comes out for easy cleaning. Very heavy and stable - have put all sizes of lids in and no way is this tipping over. Everyone needs one!
