Great box

This little box is great. It fits on my tug just perfect and I can take just the right amount of tools to the plane for what I need to do.

Solid Little Toolbox

A good little solid toolbox. It's replacing my broken "plastic" Dremal" tool case. The price is a few dollars higher then I would like; nevertheless, you get what you pay for. I would buy it again if needed.

One Tough Box

I purchased the PROTO 14" toolbox in early 2021. Then, I was looking for a strong carrier for my vintage hand tool collection. Now, going on two years, I can say that this tool kit is proving to be one tough box. Its all-steel construction (with a full grip plastic hand on top) including the set inside tray is exactly right for housing the many tools from my hot rod kid days. (These tools kept me going and this PROTO keeps them organized and secure.) This box was well worth it and I recommend it to everyone who needs a sturdy toolbox.

Beautiful Quality Toolbox

I bought this toolbox for myself and just purchased two more to give to both of my younger sons for their four year University graduation. These quality toolboxes make great gifts and every man needs a good set of tools to fall back on. :)

Came dented

Came dented but the packaging was in perfect shape. One of those deals where the damage wasn't bad enough to care about going through the hassle of retuning it. Still dented, nonetheless. The box itself is great and as advertised.

Nice product - perfect for my needs.

I bought this tool box on the chance that it would be large enough for my needs. It's perfectly sized despite wrong dimensions in product description and rather imprecise (undersized) measurements in a user response to a question re: dimensions. FYI: Accurately measured dimensions --- Interior: bottom of box front to back (D), left to right (L), and box height bottom to top (H) are 6-1/16" D x 13-15/16" L x 6-7/16" H. The storage tray rests on indented brackets 3-15/16" above the box bottom. The interior tray dimensions are 5-3/8" (D) x 13-1/4" (L) x 1-3/8" (H). Exterior box dimensions: 6-1/8" (D) x 14-1/8" (L) x 6-1/2" (H) not accounting for the handle. The box is sturdy (built with 22 gauge steel), its well finished inside and out, and it appears to be durable. The handle, hinge and draw latch all work well and the lid fits snugly to the body. The only problem I've encountered with the box are small voids where the bottom, back, and sides are folded to form a corners. This doesn't appear to be a structural problem but would allow liquids spilled in the box to leak out of these small holes. I've already applied four small dabs of epoxy to seal these corner voids. I'm very please with this tool box and would purchase it again if my needs warranted. I did however feel the box was a little overpriced given that it's smaller than most larger portable tool boxes costing about the same.
