Nice product!

I had a garlic press since the early 80s. It broke and because I had it so long, I felt so bad. After getting this new one, I am now glad it broke! I am older with weaker hands now. This new press works so easy for me. The old one...I had to squeeze like heck. This one... I mean easy! I used to have to cut the garlic up in small pieces. This one can handle larger chunks. I had to use a toothpick to clean the old one. This one can be easily cleaned under some running water. Much easier. The handle grips are super great. I totally recommend.

Does what it's supposed to do

Purchased this to make crushing garlic to make my sauces easier. It does exactly what it's supposed to with less mess and all that extra time fine chopping. Took a little bit to get use to the handles which are a little wide with a large clove of garlic.

Leave behind a lot

Leaves a lot of garlic behind, and it gets stuck very easily inside, but does its job. I do kinda wish the insert wouldnt come out because its so small and i know im going to loose it.

High quality item for pressing garlic

I broke my other press. We need a press to make Alfredo sauce. This one does not disappoint.

I love that there is a removal insert. Makes cleaning easy. However, it falls out too easily. I wish it could mince more garlic at one time.

Amazing and modernized!

Not only does it crush garlic wonderfully, it also comes apart for easy clean up!

A wonderful upgrade from my first garlic press.

There were other problems with my old garlic press, but the worst one was cleaning it. Unlike this one, the "basket" wasn't removable. I didn't know they made them with removable baskets. I think that it's probably a pain to clean a garlic press if you don't do it immediately anyways, but this little thing made it so much less annoying. I think it's very attractive. I love the metal and the handle. I think the weight and feel of it is very nice. It's a nice tool. I also like that it's legitimately dishwasher safe. I get all the garlic off before I put it in the dishwasher, because... Otherwise, it doesn't go anywhere or dissolve, and you're left with weird, stuck on (but clean!) garlic remnants. It might even be stupid that I bother running it through the dishwasher at that point, now that I think of it as I write this. But whatever! LOL. It's dishwasher safe! My old garlic press also had a coating that progressively wore off after a couple years of being thrown into the dishwasher too. But this doesn't have that. You want to press garlic? Get a good garlic press, why not? This'll do you.

Not what I expected

These are designed with a removable insert that’s has the holes to press the garlic through. It slips. I use it 90% for black garlic, which is easier to press. In theory. The garlic smooshes over the sides and gets stuck. The extruded garlic is perfect but this makes more of a mess than I prefer.

Easy to use and Cheap

It’s easy to clean and was also the cheapest one on Amazon. However its not as sturdy. I would recommend spending a few dollars more on a better one that will last.

Easy to use/clean

This garlic press is really nice and easy to clean. The grid piece comes out which makes it easier. However, I do feel that there is a weak point in the handle that will allow it to crack or break sooner versus later.

Very Happy

Seems very sturdy and I like the no rust aspect as this happened with my last one. So far, yes I would recommend this product

It's a good product except the trace of rust

The media could not be loaded. I noticed a portion has traces of rust, though I wash and dry after ever use. I was very disappointed because I went for this very expensive brand (3 times the price of T-fal garlic press) looking to avoid dealing with rusting of any kind. Every other quality is perfect. That's why I gave a 3-star rating. Because I would to buy another one soon
