Need bandage wrap
I thought they would have their own adhesive but they do not. You have to have something to wrap it onto your limb

Wonderful
This product saved my husband from having to go to an emergency room. Worked great and helped new skin grow.

2nd Degree Burn on Foot
I received a 2nd degree burn on the top of my foot after spilling boiling water on it.... Horrible I tell you. Anyways, initially I had a huge blister that was about 3 inches in diameter. Yes, yes, I probably should have gone to the doctor, BUT, I do believe in trying to solve most issues with minimal medication and doctor visits..... So.... Anywho, I let the blister stay intact for approximately 6 days just to give my body its uninterrupted time of beginning repairs (I did use antibiotic ointment and gauze and bandaged it a few hours out of the day). On the 6th day I sterilized a pin cushion needle and drained the blister by poking about 4 holes evenly spaced at the base of the blister. I left the skin intact. The next day one of my toddlers fell on my foot and the skin came off. So much for conserving money not trying to buy a bunch of gauze and what not.... So sterilized the outer part of skin with alcohol and cleaned the entire foot with soap and water before placing sterile gauze, ointment and medical tape for security. The gauze was kind uncomfortable and my foot hurt with every movement, especially going up and down stairs.... Enough story time. So now to the point, after coming across the moist pads during my research the first day but deciding not to buy, I decided to give it a try since my wound was no longer protected by its own skin and the research over the previous week supported giving it a shot for my burn. Needless to say, I truly regret not buying these the day I got burned. They are very comfortable and the healing of my burn seems to be going faster than expected after only 24 hours of use. And did I mention I can walk up and down the stairs without pain which I couldn’t do just 24 hours before putting this on? It’s great. I am using my second pad, but will give it a break the next day because it does have a lot of moisture so I feel my surrounding unburned skin will need a breather. I have not had an allergic reaction nor any weird feelings thus far. I am curious to see how the overall healing process goes with these. Will update my review when I get the chance. Just a side note, the blue film is on the side of the pad that is NOT facing the clear film before you open it. I only mention this because the instructions in the box do not state to remove the clear film that is on it. I accidentally removed the clear film on my first pad assuming that the side that is showing through the clear film when you take the little pack out of the box was the blue film. It wasn’t of course. Since I felt the clear film probably helps keep the moisture in and keeps it structured since it is like a gooey type of slime slab, I discarded the first pad and tried again. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone was wondering like I was when I was trying to figure it out in the first place. The whole thing is blue! I didn’t know. ???? I would recommend this product.

Awesome stuff! Better than wet or iced towels!
I got this a box of this stuff as part of my "doomsday" kit after the tragic earthquake and tsunami in Japan. One night soon after I got this box I nuked .. err .. over nuked gravy in a bowl to pour over some meatloaf. No, this was not a planned test! I picked the bowl up, burned 3 of the fingers on my right hand while using a towel to pick it up one handed, and then dropped the white hot bowl of molten gravy which then proceeded to coat and cook all 4 finger from the first knuckle down to the fingertips on the left hand. In the meantime dummy here tried to grab the bowl again with the right fingers (bare). Wrong move. Getting splashed with molten gravy was like getting hit with boiling oil that sticks so it burned until I rinsed the stuff off. Grabbing after the nuclear gravy covered bowl wasn't too smart either. I rushed to the sink to run water over my fingers and realized that I needed to keep them cold continually because they started burning again as soon as I pulled them out of the water. This one was more than your average burn and I use a keyboard for a living so having 7 roasted fingers was not something I was looking forward to. Just then it dawned on me that I had just recently gotten this burn gel stuff and decided to give it a test. Man this stuff is great. You just apply it to the burned area and tape it in place. You don't have to keep replacing it like you have to keep re-wetting a towel or keeping your burn in ice water. The gel pads immediately stopped the burning and easily lasted 24 hours without need for replacement until I changed the bandage the next day. If I had used a wet towel I'd have been wetting it constantly all night long unless I used ice through a towel and that gets messy. After using the burn pad I did not get any blisters nor any burn markings on my fingers. This stuff works for the minor burns that hurt like he11. I don't know about real serious burns but I'm sure they'll provide excellent relief until medical attention is sought. It claims to help reduce scarring. I don't know if I got burned bad enough to tell if I'd have had scars but would imagine it would help since it is sterile and comforting. My fingers felt much better the next day as long as I kept the pad on. I had cut it up for each finger. By the 36th hour I no longer needed them and the fingers felt fine again. I can swear by these. I could even use my keyboard with the pads taped to my fingers. The pad material resembles jellyfish flesh somewhat and feels moist and cool on the application side. Its a tad over a millimeter thick. Each one comes sealed in a sterile packet. This is great to keep handy around the house. You can even add a pad or two to your emergency kit if you have one. I highly recommend you keep some on hand.

Quick healing, pain free
Applied these to a silver dollar sized burn that removed the top layer of skin. Zero discomfort experienced and completed healed in 10 days. I like that the bandage is clear / see through to see healing progress and watch for signs of infection. I put down Curad Germ Shield silver gel under the bandage to prevent infection. Worked beautifully. Getting it taped down was a bit of an ordeal but I found a system that worked. Would recommend having these on hand in all of your emergency med kits!

Life saving
Our poor little 2 year old was burned in an accident and it was serious second degree. The burns were on his arm and hip. I was struggling with caring for the burns with the normal gauze and gauze roll. I ordered three different types of gel burn relief patches and out of all of them these were the only ones we could use. They were just perfect, I found leaving the blue part on to keep it moist longer was a great trick! But they healed my sons arm in just a week I was in disbelief I only had to change his bandage twice a day! Get enough for a week it will heal and keep you from scaring as much as well! I’m going to order extras to put in the first aid kid for our family !!

I would not buy again.
These pads are very small and much thinner than I had hoped and I do not think they will be as effective as alternative pads available on the market.

These are amazing
A friend suggested these when I burned my hands really badly touching a (450*F) hot pan that was on the counter. We bought more from amazon after getting one pack at the drug store the evening of the incident, and these were a lifesaver (or rather hand saver!). The liquid-y gel cooled and soothed the pan, and I had zero blisters, swelling, or scarring. I wrapped damp towels around my hands after applying the pads overnight, calmed them the next day, and was mostly back to normal the following day. These are now a permanent fixture in my first aid kit.

Very comforting on a burn
My husband burned the side of his wrist when using a heat gun (2nd degree), so after running under cool water for 20 mins, we applied this pad and he said it was instantly very cooling and relieving on the burn. So we cut up the remaining pads with sterilized scissors into quarters to make them last longer, making sure to wrap up the extra pieces tightly. Then daily we applied a new quarter piece to the burn. After 2 weeks, his burn was completely healed! Worked so well I got another pack just to have on hand. Can you believe here in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, none of the pharmacies or drug stores stock this! Why not is my question, it's a great product!! I should mention, we also applied Neosporin under the pad for the antiboitic, but hubby said that didn't take away the soothing effect of the gel pad.
