Sata has really impressed me.

Im an electrical apprentice and bought these as a starter set but the quality really impressed me. Planned on replacing these after a couple months but after using them I dont see myself replacing them for a couple of years! Truly impressive price to performance. I have tried multiple sata products now and they have impressed every time.

Good for the price... design matches my Wiha tools

This is a review of SATA 3-Piece VDE Insulated Pliers Set (Amazon ASIN B07V42888X). The equivalent Wiha set is ~$100 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PCJTGY1), and these look like they were styled to match. I threw them in my bag with genuine Wiha screwdrivers and it's hard to tell that they are not from the same manufacturer. They came in a nice printed cardboard box which quickly went in the trash. They had a few rough edges from the plastic mold, and had an oily residue no doubt from manufacturing, but cleaned up nicely with a Clorox wipe. I sent a set to my son-in-law as well.

Hard to get

This type of uninsulator is hard to get. Most are the sideways type that require more room. This is great for head-on operations in tighter spaces. Works great, but you have to adjust to the gauge or risk taking out some parts of the wire. I recommend testing the setting first on a leftover wire of the same gauge.

The cutter didn’t have the meat to cut through a 12/2 wire or maybe I’m just getting old.

Appear to have the quality of more expensive brands like.

I used them at work to remove some fuses, they feel good in the hand and they do the trick. the fuses were in a little compartment that swings out so they are supposedly disconnected but I'm just playing it safe. I work in maintenance and I don't work with LIVE wires but who knows, I like to be prepared just in case.

Save your Packaging Materials

I should have spent more and purchased the knipex pliers but I thought that I would take a chance and buy these based on reviews. Perhaps I got the only bad one in the bunch but mine arrived stiff with a rusty joint. I spent longer than I should have needed too spraying oil into the joint and opening and closing the pliers to try to get some of the rust out, the photo you see is towards the end of the process and the pliers still stick. Keep your packaging material in case you need to return them. I will not likely ever buy this brand again and I am being generous with a 3 star rating.

FENOMENAL

The media could not be loaded. Ferramentas de altíssima qualidade. Não há o que questionar quanto a qualidade e desempenho destas ferramentas. Se quer uma ferramenta isolada compre certificada. Certificadas pela VDE, GS e IEC 60900 de 2014. Com todos esses certificados e por um preço muito em conta. Valeu cada centavo.

Great value for the money

This set doesn’t have quite the polish/finish of more expensive brands like Wera, but the value is certainly there. The grips are very comfortable and non-slip. The hinges open and close smoothly on all three tools and there is no play evident. As a quick test I tried to cut clothesline using each tool and found the cutters on the needle nose pliers went through the easiest and, strangely, the linesman’s pliers had the most difficulty (I needed to use both hands) even though they are the longest/have the most purchase. The side cutters went through the same clothesline cable with one hand no problem. Would recommend.

Shouldn't need 2 hand to open it

The handle is fine , cutter work fine , but oh boy are they stiff this shouldn't have made it past quality control . Either you work them out with oil or you don't use them , they really are that stiff .
