Colore : Marrone; Materiale alloggiamento : ABS.

Great Little Magnetic Reed Relays!
I bought these as the detectors for use on checking whether my garage doors were open or not. I simply used silicone rubber to glue the magnet and magnetic reed detector into place on my garage door structures as required. Don't try to switch a load directly if it takes more than 10mA. I tried to switch a load of about 120mA and the reed started to stick "ON" once activated and I had to tap it once the magnet was removed to open the contacts again. I very quickly stopped doing that and once I redesigned the system and reduced the current down to 5 mA to bias a transistor as the load switch, then the reed relay worked perfectly. Only needed two of the five supplied - I'm looking forward to thinking up another use for the remaining units! Very happy with them.

I was going to use those switches to detect if the doors and hatches of my chicken coop are properly closed. This does not work because the contacts are closed unless the two pieces are further than 1 inch apart, even if I offset the magnet. In other words, my system shows the door as closed even if its one inch open. It works otherwise great though and I am sure I will find a use for it (garage door, etc.). For the coop I will just get mechanical switches.

These work for various projects
I use this to fix my door sensor on my Ford Flex, Ford uses a sensor in the door latch and it cost around 200 to replace the latch I did that once on all four doors already, this time I just use these nice little inexpensive fix and it works perfectly

I used these for door sensors for my alarm system and they work great. Although the diameter can be a challenge in terms of getting the hole right, they seem to be a very sensitive combination and everywhere I used them, they have been reliable and stable. Certainly they are a great value for the price and seem to be solidly constructed.

Order Metric Paddle Bits.
This is a great product for the price. When ordering this product, I would suggest ordering metric paddle bits for the installation. It is between 5/8" & 3/4". The hole will have to be enlarged if drilling with a 5/8" bit.

Worked perfectly, I needed to make a neutral safety switch circuit for my manual transmission car and this did the trick. I just put the magnet on an open part of the shift linkage and mounted the switch so that it would only pick up the magnet in the neutral position. These should work for any similar purpose you may have, I'll probably use my remaining ones in a door alarm system at some point.

Needed to replace a switch in a home application that had been switching an incandescent lamp for about 20 years. These parts are not the same size as original but I shimmed them with craft paper. New switch actuates a solid state relay which switches the lamp. New arrangement will probably outlive me. Repair now 5 months old and operating without problems.

sturdy and simple
Worked great for a little Arduino project I made as a Christmas present for my niece. I ended up snipping off the flange to make it a bit thinner. The whole thing seems pretty sturdy, though the plastic flange probably wouldn't stand up well to very cold temperatures. But for what I needed it to do — hang out inside a 3D-printed minecraft ore to act as a trigger — it worked great.
