Good quality

Used this to mill an 80% polymer lower. It did a good job. Works best when you get the speed set right, otherwise you melt the polymer.

Good product machines 7075 hardened aluminum very well but I didn't read description very clearly and missed where the total OAL was 2.5 in and much to short to complete my project

Works well. It is HSS, not carbide. Pay more for a carbide endmill bit if you wish. Worked well for me! :) Works great for an AR-15 trigger slot. Just long enough to reach through a jig on top if you don't insert it all the way into your chuck (about 1/4" inside the chuck. You will have to chuck it, then raise the table up to make it go inside the jig if your drill-press has short travel like mine. That means I had to have the chuck just shy of touching the jig for the bit to be cutting above the bottom while still extended below the surface to be cut Pretty short bit, but workable.

Works well... They are not Carbide CUTTERS

I use these as router bits... Work well as long as the speed is kept low.. Since it is HSS they can be subject to burning if forced...

Could use more details about the tool but diameter is measuring out at an acceptable 6.34mm or .2496" which is roughly 1/4". I have not checked the runout yet which to me is one of the most important aspects of an end mill. I will report back when I have the numbers but for now my only complaint is a lack of cutter data. I have found most companies don't bother offering any specifics on cutters which makes the job of loading the tool into my cam tool library painful at best. I also have to guesstimate based on generalizations about what speeds and chip load to run the tool at which makes no sense as information is cheap to include and would go along way to giving lower end tooling some credibility and possibly improve the finish and extend the tools life.

NICE bit, inexpensive.

While I am not a machinist by trade I am also not a total greenhorn. I used this bit for milling some aluminum forgings, it worked perfect! It made a smooth cut, left a nice finish with no chatter. Since my machine does not have cutting fluid spray I was quite happy. Bits come packed in individual hard plastic cases and each is labeled. Great for what I wanted it to do. I can't speak to more demanding uses as aluminum is pretty soft.

A little undersized (not 5/16ths) but solid

At first very pissed! Put it to the digital caliper and saw it was undersized. But in the reviews saw others using it as i intended ( to mill out the trigger pocket on an 80% lower) and the reviews are solid so Imma give it a go.
