Very small

I was in a hurry when I bought this and failed to check the reviews and photos first. It is sturdy, keeps you well above water and is perfect for tanning. However, it is very small. I'm 5'4 and my feet hang off when on my stomach; so, this is for us Shorty's or kids. It is also very narrow and the window is useless unless your under 5'3.

One of them held air

I purchased two of these for use in swimming pool. They are really cool with the clear window and they are a little bit wider than the $5 cheap ones a the dollar store. Well, sadly one didn’t even hold air the first time around, didn’t ever make it into the pool! The second float has to be refilled every other day, as it has a slow leak. Very disappointed in these. I paid more hoping for a better product, but didn’t happen. These are used by adults, literally just laying on them in the sun, not kids jumping and playing. I do not recommend. If they they help air, I like the general design. Good luck!

My favorite float

This is my favorite float. I use it in my pool. It's very stable. I like laying on my stomach and being able to see the bottom of the pool. The pillow is very comfortable for laying on your back or stomach. The last one I had lasted two summers then the pillow seam popped inside. There was no way to fix it. So I bought two more for next year.

Sturdy Material

The material seems pretty sturdy - not like that cheap plastic that pops if you look at it the wrong way. The little window is great. My kids like to swim under it and make funny faces at me. It gets pretty windy in the desert so I don't keep our floats inflated all the time, otherwise they'll end up all over the place. I deflate them after each use and store them in our deck box. So far, it's held up nicely.

Not made like they used to be. Disappointing!!

My daughter and I have used these last 3 years- and lasting about 1 1/2 pool seasons-very comfortable air mat. However this year- must be made cheaper…. I had to buy 4 this summer alone- 3 have gotten a leak at seam of window- have only lasted about 3 weeks. I’m so disappointed- I’m shopping for new brand for next summer.

Sturdy and comfortable -- a better value than the similar Intex mattresses

Excellent support and sturdier than the Intex 18 pocket mattresses. Because of back problems, I have been using the similar Intex pocket mattress to sleep on every night for years but they only last a few weeks, often developing leaks in as little as 3 weeks. So far, this Solstice mattress has lasted far longer than the Intex. The opaque vinyl seems to be sturdier than the transparent vinyl of the Intex -- or the seams are just made better. The best price on this Solstice is higher than for the Intex pocket matress, but in the long run, the Soltice is a better value. I have switched completely to using this Solstice. By the way, leaks in these types of mattresses almost always develop in the pocket seams. An easier leak fix than patches is to dribble a little PVC cement (the type used to put white PVC plumbing pipe together) on the leaking seam and let it dry thoroughly.

Worth What the price used to be!

I ordered this about a month ago and paid $15. This is a nice float for that price. Sturdy but a little short (I'm only 5'4" and my feet hang over). However, now the price has went up to $24? No way I'd pay that price for this float.

good, thick material

Decent float...good, thick material. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it loses some air each time I use it so I always have to reinflate a little each time. Works better if you flip it upside down so those suction cup things don’t mess up your sunscreen—the first time I used it I ended up looking like a LEGO with my tan/burn lines lol!

Awesome quality

We bought 2 of these in 2020, took them to Mexico and loved them. Brought them home again and we’ve used them 3 summers now. They are just starting to slowly leak air, so I say that’s pretty good for all we’ve used them They are wider than the average float which makes them easier to get on and off. The pockets are perfect size for holding a beverage too Will be repurchasing them for next vacation Definitely recommend

Had multiple seam tears

This arrived with several holes and was completely useless. It looked like the seams were really weak and just tore. Could have just been mine, but keep your receipt!

Arrived on time

Took it out of the box, started to inflate, noticed within 2 minutes it wasn't holding air! It has a hole in it.

Don't do it! Not worth it.

A friend and I thought these floaties were just what we were looking for. We ordered two: one had a hole right out of the box and the other simply broke during the first use. We sent these back. While looking for a replacement, there weren't many options that were also in stock, so we decided to try these again, thinking maybe we were just unlucky. We ordered two more and straight out of the box there were issues. One had this weird burnt area and a massive hole straight through and the other had lots of tiny rips around the edges of "cup holder-like" features. We should have known better than to purchase again. Don't waste your time.
