Great for slightly large shoes

I purchased these heel liner cushions to go in the heel of a pair of slip on shoes that were just slightly too big for me. The heel liners did the trick and now the shoes fit a lot better. The heel snugs where very easy to apply in the shoes and I have worn the shoes both with socks and without socks and have had no issues with blisters or rubbing on my foot. The edges of the liners seem to be lifting away a bit after several wears, but so far they have stayed stuck to the inside of the shoe. I like that these came with two sets so if the first does eventually come free, I have another set to use. It is not at all noticeable that I have the sole heel liner cushions in my shoes while I am wearing them. This is a good solution to shoes that slip just a little in the heel area.

Perfect Solution

I first purchased these at my local shoe store to keep my heels from slipping out of my dress shoes. They lasted a very long time and then started to pull away from the shoe lining and would stick out of the back of my shoe. I then resorted to gluing them in. I bought two sets of these from Amazon and I just immediately glued them down in my new shoes. They work great and do keep my heels from slipping out of my shoes when walking. I do not find that they irritate my skin although I do wear nylons with my dress shoes. They do not tear the nylons and are very comfortable. I just ordered another two sets to keep on hand for when I purchase further dress shoes.

Does not stick well

Bought this to make a pair of adidas sneakers fit better. Unfortunately, they stick to everything but the inside of shoes.

Best Heel Grip

I have wide feet, but i still love some styles of normal width shoes. Because of this I have to order up in size for more room in the front. But because of that, now the length is too much. I then start clip cloppin around in my shoes. It looks (and sounds) terrible, and I wind up having sciatica pain from my gait in walking to try and keep my shoes from slipping off. I love these heel grips because they actually grip! I've tried the other ones on Amazon that are softer, and padded with little "grip" marks. They have never successfully held my heel in place and moreso seem for heel comfort. These heel grips have a more rubbery texture and are great at keeping my heel in the shoe.

Made so well it hurts.

The product is not bad, it just didn't work for me. I'm sure it would work great for a man's work shoes, or if I had shoes on that I only wore socks with, but I got them to guard against heel blisters in a pair of shoes I cannot wear with any kind of sock. I assumed they would be more cushion than grip, but I should have read the reviews first. While they were very cushioned, they also grip so hard that I got worse blisters from using them than wearing the shoes without them. I tried re-positioning them multiple times in hopes that would improve the problem - so they stick pretty well considering I moved them probably four times - but nothing made the gripping ease up. I didn't even walk much, it was just that bad. So, I'm not sure why they show them with women's heels on the packaging, unless there's a wool sock and pumps trend that I'm unaware of, because that's what it would take to not feel these. I'm pretty sure these bad boys would grip foot liners or pantyhose so hard they might cause runs. But if you have a really loose pair of shoes and you need something SUPER dependable, these may work awesome.

A perfect fix for too-big shoes, and a great value

These heel grips work really well for me, and are well worth the price. $5 for two pairs is a great value! I bought them for slip-on sneakers that are half a size too big for me and were slipping off my heel when I walked. With these heel grips, the shoes fit snugly and comfortable to the back of my ankles, and stay put with every step. These grips are moderately thick; I don’t expect they would help with shoes over a half size too big. They are not soft and squishy, but rather firm and rubbery. They are textured to the touch, which helps them grip very well. That said, I do not find them to be abrasive. I have used them with socks and sneakers, and in heels against bare ankles, and they have not caused blisters or any irritation. They simply grip very well. I am surprised by the reviews saying the adhesive is inadequate. I have found them to be extremely sticky—more than adequate to stick to my shoes for a very long time (I have purchased this brand of heel grips in the past, and they stuck to those shoes for literally years). I even stuck them on crooked the first time and had to peel them off and re-stick them, and they were plenty sticky enough for the second application. For the quality and value, I would definitely recommend this product.

Made in USA!

I wanted so much to be able to give 5 stars to this item. They are perfect for stopping slipping heels, without adding too much bulk, they are reasonably priced, and they are made here in the USA . I only wish they were made with more adhesive on the backs. I have had to use double sided carpet tape to keep them in place. They might work better in leather shoes, but I needed them for my new cloth shoes. It would be great if the manufacturer could use a bit more glue in the backs. I still would buy them again (as I have plenty of tape!)

Maybe not the solution I needed

I've always had the issue of the heels of my shoes eventually dissolving, thought maybe these would help stop some of the destruction by adding a barrier between my heels and the shoe. Fell off after 1 hour of use, so maybe not intended for work.

Stick lasts for about 1 use. May be good for sneakers but not for work boots.
