Cosplay/costume starter
Pros: Color of the uniform is terrific. It doesn’t wrinkle. It’s form fitting so it gives off a nice figure appearance. It looks legit like a uniform. The price was 36$ which is great for a piece that can be turned in cosplay. Cons: The fit. I usually wear 14/16/18, we all know how much women’s sizes flux in clothing brands, especially Halloween costumes. I tried the xxl and decided I would do alterations. Jacket was just a little tight, arms too long, skirt a little too loose. “Shirt” is actually a Velcro-close bib, this fit fine. The hat is fine. I doubt I’ll wear the hat but I’m sure some may like it. Skirt zipper - works but feels very flimsy. Be very careful or you’ll tear it right away. Cosplay quality - for Peggy Carter yes with alterations. Might want to get a different shirt, better buttons, and better quality medals. Possible a belt. I’m going to add a red headband with a flower and skip the military hat. Plus I’m going to the convention with cap America. People will get who you are. Costume quality - excellent, it’s very classy and pretty. Material - I wouldn’t wash it. It’s Halloween costume material that might fall apart in the washer or dryer.

Always satisfied
Fancy dress for ww2. A little on the large side but probably because I had lost a little weight. Otherwise perfect for occasion as other Smiffy costumes have always been. Thank you.

Bought for a Veterans event - they loved it!
I had seen the reviews for this costume and found it funny how so many people thought those wearing the costume were actually serving in the military. Well, I'm here to add to those kind of stories I purchased the costume as a surprise for the veterans that were attending a special dinner at my church in their honor. Most were Vietnam, Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq vets but my uncle is a WWII vet and I thought it would be nice to dress up and perform (armed forces hymns medley) as a treat for them. Nearly all the veterans thought I was a member of the military, commenting how I was higher ranked than they ever were, etc. Of course, I gently corrected them and eventually had to make an announcement to the group that it was just a costume, haha. So, you know that it looks pretty authentic if a bunch of veterans thought it was real. :) As far as sizing - the costume fit me well. It does run large, which I was banking on because I technically didn't fit into the sizes as described. But I saw someone else's review saying that they ran large and took the plunge. It was perfect, except that the sleeves were too long and had to be cuffed and sown to fit me properly. Overall, very pleased with this purchase. And the smiles on the veteran's faces, especially my uncle's, made it all well worth it.

Felt the product doesn't run true to size.
This costume was purchased to use in a play being performed by our community drama club, and we felt the quality was very substantial. It looked very nice when pressed and ready to wear, but we didn't feel the description that it ran true to size was correct. We have ordered the next size and I will know more after receiving that one how accurate the sizing is. Overall we felt it worthy of a reorder in a larger size.

Fits good/smells terrible
The material is cheap .I do like the way it fits, it is true to size. It will do for the D-Day party I’m going to. The biggest complaint I have is how bad it smells. Not sure how I will fix that without washing it. I’m afraid it will fall apart if I do that/or shrink.

Not So Bad
After reading the reviews I bought the small in this outfit and it fit well. I'm a bit "busty" I guess you would say so the jacket was tight in the body area but super loose in the leaves. The entire outfit is made of polyester and the skirt is see thru so you might want to add a lining or a slip or something to it if you're wearing it during the day. I'm 5'5 and 130 n the outfit fits but on the tight side. Don't plan on eating your hearts content in this. There is a little give in the skirt as it has a section with elastic but not a lot. I'm on the fence on keeping it because the zipper came down a little and kept having to pull it up. Oo I've had worse outfits so this really isn't too bad. Sizing is a bit off. I have a feeling they pinned the back of the outfit on the model of the image to make it look a lot fitted than it really is.

Not Perfect But Overall Nice
This costume is pretty nice and looks really great on. It fits well (I ordered a small and I am 5'9" at about 130-135 lbs); however, the sleeves are a little wide as well as the skirt towards the bottom. For those who are on the thinner side, it will definitely look a little roomy in these areas. That being said, it still looks good and if you are set on having a more tailored fit, you can always take it to you local tailor and have them bring it in a bit for cheap. The main flaw is that the costume is extremely thin. You would expect to wear a shirt under the jacket but be prepared to have something like a slip or shape wear to wear under that skirt unless you want everyone to see your everything. Overall the costume is really nice and looks official on. Exact fit and thinness are fixable/workable and shouldn't deter you from purchasing.

Great costume apart from the bib shirt
I bought this costume for Halloween 2022. I got lots of compliments on it. I have to say the faux shirt that came with the costume isn't great and I ended up purchasing a plain white shirt to wear instead. But overall I was pleased with my purchase, thought it looked pretty good and would recommend.

Sizing a bit off
The costume is exactly what you expect for a Halloween costume, thinner material etc. I was very happy with the look and overall appearance of the costume. My only advice is to be careful with the size you order. Usually Halloween costumes fit small so I ordered a medium, expecting it to fit around a size 6. The medium came very generous. I would say it fits more like a 8-10. The waist is stretchy with an elastic so it fits big. I had to take the costume in. I would still recommend as it is a great outfit. You will need to hot glue some bobby pins or something to the hat as they won't stay in on their own.

Could be better
The material is quite a thin one. As other reviews have already pointed out, it's not a real shirt but a sort if bib. However that's easy sorted as one can wear her own shirt. I bought a small size (I'm normally S/M depending on brands) but it would have been better to get a medium instead as the jacket is a bit tight at the shoulders. The skirt is just about right. The hat too small. I will buy a headband and glue it on top. The colour looks a bit different from the photo but it's okay. The washing instructions say "wet sponge only. Seriously? How can I clean a uniform with a wet sponge??? It's 100% polyester, so I'll wash it with the delicates in the washing machine and see how it goes. Also it arrived well after I needed it, so I had to hire a uniform for the occasion. Make sure you leave plenty of time if buying it.
