Love the size and look of this!
We really like this for our patio planter box. We got a large divided paver to support it on top of the soil and planted some flowers around it. It was a challenge to find the best place for the solar plate to keep it on as long as possible. It does shut off as soon as the sun goes away. We will be looking for a battery charged pump that might work with it. Really wished it did hold a charge! It would be perfect then. But we do like the look and sound of it.

This item comes well packed in box
Looks great in my herb garden. Needs to be set in a level area. A bit heavy on the one side. I got the red. Very pretty. Solar panel has a very long cord. Easy set up. Arrived quickly! Great addition.

Bought five years ago, still running, why no more backup battery in new models?
In use, outside in all weather, since July 2019. I would buy another for Mothers' Day gift, but the new models do not come with a backup battery to keep it running when clouds pass or into the night.

Muted Tranquil sounds
I love the fountain but the first one I received had much smaller bowls. This one has larger bowls but the frame seems to be made for the smaller bowls of the first fountain. Because of the larger biowls, they are practically sitting on top of each other so the flow of the fountain is muted.

Quality, description, packing. 5 star to me.
The media could not be loaded. The items was so well package. I can tell they took the effort to make sure the product arrive in great condition! The product itself is as the seller described what to expect. Works with sunlight only. The most I like about it is the quality of the bowls! Not “thin”. The way I do it: I secured first to a level I wanted because I did not want it on ground level with the soil and I want it to blend in the location I planned. (See video). Next: I secure the three bowls a little bit that it does not get knock out easily by carefully putting a “little” gorilla glue to prevent movements in case a bird stand on it. I did not put a glue on the very top. I feel the tube is enough and I need that without a glue in case I need to adjust and foresee maintenance of tube or the fitter that goes into it. Another touch I do is I add small stones. The only thing I can say other than above beauty, the fitter/rubber that at the top hole of the bowl leak a little bit if the flow is strong or how I position the top. Could be how I insert or Maybe I was too careful not to push it all the way with my finger nails and it should be push more. Does not bother me. It’s only a drip. After I adjusted the top bowl a bit it lessen the drip more to a drop only. I did not want to adjust or over handle the rubber anymore. I bought another one of this one for another location after having this item.

Great size for a balcony, nook or grotto - solar panel has a long cord and is continuous power - not 'on demand'
If you have ever looked for small fountains at a local garden store you already know this is a good deal. I ordered this fountain for a space in my yard and loved it for its simplicity and price. It arrived very quickly and the packaging was outstanding and everything intact. 1 trick to putting it together is to put the side stabilizer wire into place first and then the 2 main wire pieces. If you try to put the main pieces together and then the side stabilizer wire you will have to bend it to get it in place. No bueno! Make sure you put the rubber 'stopper' into the pitcher securely or you will have water all over :) I set this up and tried it inside first with an adapter. (one I already had from a discarded indoor unit) It worked ok but very slow. When I took it outside and hooked up the solar panel it worked really well. I can see how some may have issues with the solar panel on cloudy days. Be aware that this is because it is an entirely solar powered unit ... not the 'on demand' solar powered unit. An 'on demand' unit stores energy within the panel for situations where there are clouds etc. The cord is really long so you could set this up and run the cord to a sunny area for the panel. When I want to turn the fountain off I just turn the panel into the shade. The price for the fountain is so reasonable that if wanted to get a different power set up for 'on demand' one could easily justify the extra purchase. The size of the fountain is exactly what is described - about 2 1/2 - 3 feet high. You could use it on a table or on the ground - either would be nice. This is useful if you move and your new place is configured differently. All in all its a great purchase for a nice nook or grotto space!

It is OK, but.......
I used the fountain this past summer. Of course I broke one of the bowls, tried to glue it and that did Not work out. The water leaked out but the tough little pump did survive it ~that once.It was all right to send the water through one less bowl, but not as good looking. Honestly I liked the sound of it better with the water falling from a farther position into the big bowl. I had to add water quite often. If you keep it in the sun which is necessary since it is solar, it needs water almost daily (about a gallon but this was a very dry hot summer, drout like). I have pine trees, which I kept the fountain quite distanced from but the needles still got in. Thats how I broke the bowl trying to replace the water to protect the pump. I had it on a concrete pad instead of in a soft garden. I would put rocks in it as photographed, then you won't have to add quite as much water, and don't lift it unless all of the bowls are taken off and protected. The pump is a little floaty so you would need a rock or two to keep it down. It needed a little bending of the metal to get into position during assembly ~had to have my man help with that because it is made out of sturdy stuff. When I put it away it no longer worked, but I think if I can clear out the pump and position it somewhere better it will work better. For the amount of trouble, maintenance, it wasn't worth the price to me, but it is made out of great materials. It got frozen a couple of times before I got to put it away yet the rest of the bowels are still intact. So for the but.... it depends where you place it and what your typical summer is like. Best for a garden rather than a patio and best for a person who can keep an eye on watering it.

As advertised
arrived in good condition, in a timely fashion, and looks exactly like the product that was advertised. Only a little bit funky in the design, which requires some adjustments to allow the water to flow from top to bottom unimpeded.

Great for one season
Loved it... until it quit working... used one season and now solar panel quit working and pumping water.... disappointing as it wasn't cheap to buy, hoped it lasted more then one season.....
