Great for rugs…
I put a new rug down in kitchen and old chairs were hard to slide across it, but put these on and slides like a dream. Very pleased.

Use the screws!
Purchased 4 new kitchen chairs and used these to easily move out of the way when mom comes with walker. This is an awesome product.

Excellent for Tile!
A product that works! A bit of advice that will save you potential trouble; visit the manufactures web site before buying. There you will get an excellent description regarding what is best for your type of floor. These work GREAT on TILE floors. Someone made a remark on how these didn't slide well on their linoleum floor. These are made for "hard" floors; but there are feet that work well for just about any floor. I tried the felt and what a pain: you know the drill ... you pull on the chair and scrap, the felt falls off ... clean the dust ball and press the felt back on ... lasts about a week and it falls off again ... repeat. Frustrated, I told myself there has to be something out there that works better than this. These are it. Pay attention to the "CB" numbers because they denote which color you're ordering. Also be careful regarding the size. Just measure the "feet" that are currently on your chair and go from there. Yes they are made of cheap plastic but the great part is they work, which means they're designed well. I will update my review later as I do all my reviews. I want to see if they hold up ... or not. Update: November 22, 2014. When I initially bought these, I worried that maybe a small particle could get struck between the slider feet and floor and possibly scratch the floor. The answer is yes, that can happen but it hit me that the same "worry" can just as easily occur with the felt pads. These work so well we're putting them on all of our chairs. Oh, one last thought; if you have an uneven floor, these can easily be adjusted by using small washers (which no one will see.) If you have felt on your chairs now and they're on a tile floor, get these, you will be happy.

Good sliders, but weak screws
The product makes our chairs slide so much easier on the rug, so that’s great. The screws are not good quality, though. I’ll leave a couple of photos so you can see. I’ve installed half of the 16 I bought so far- two chairs worth, and one of the screw heads stripped badly. A couple others started stripping as well, but I was able to get them in. Another screw just broke off the top. Luckily it was right as I was close to having it all the way in, so I was able to screw the plastic part farther in and just use the adhesive to keep it on. Hopefully that will be enough to keep it in for good. It made the installation more work than I expected, because I feel that this should have been a breeze. I drilled holes like the instructions said, so that wasn’t the problem. They’re just made of weak metal. Once they’re on, though, I really like how well the sliders work, and they seem like they’ll be difficult to ever remove.

The best product I have found so far.
I have dark hardwood site finished floors and some heavy club chairs in my kitchen They are about 3 times heavier than standard kitchen chair. I purchased the CB250 Dark coloured plastic and have been using them since March 2011. I chucked the included stickers and installed the Slipstick by pre-drilling the holes and using the provided screws. Protection - Under sunlight I can see a faint dark mark from the plastic if I drag. I does not look like scratches, more like colouring from the Slipstick plastic. With my dark floors it is not normally visible. Sliding - When I tried sliding them, it really did not slide, more like dragged though this could be due to my heavy chairs. Cleaning - They are way easier to clean in comparison to felt. Warnings - One day I noticed a long visible scratch from one leg on a chair. On closer inspection I could not see anything though I felt a part of the offending Slipstick flat felt sharp. I assume it was either a piece of dirt or the plastic itself. A vigorous cleaning with a wet paper towel fixed it. I am disappointed with the marking of the floor, but still this is better than felt, which after a few months collects small particles and visibly scratches up the floor. I need some more floor protectors for my dining room which are more standard chairs. So once I get another set of the slipsticks in I will try to followup with another view. I may also purchase a pack of Magic Sliders to see if they are any better.

Excellent Chair Sliders!
These sliders have made moving chairs on an old linoleum floor much easier. My elderly mother needed something to make maneuvering her chair up to the table easier and these did the trick without causing any damage to the floor. We used the screws (versus stick on) to install them on wood chair legs, which is not difficult but does require an electric drill to do the installation. We used the included screws and had no trouble with them like some other reviewers have mentioned. It is important that you use the right size drill bit to make the hole which then allows easy insertion of the screws. Would definitely recommend.

Works well on Solid Hardwood floor
We have solid oak floors and the typical stick on glides would catch on the joints or the dog would get ahold of the edge and pull it off. I bought these due to their ability to be installed with screws. These glides install fairly easily and slide like a dream. Make a drilling jig to center it on the leg and installation is easy. To facilitate installation, I made a drilling jig out of scrap piece of plywood I had. I drilled a shallow hole with a 1-1/16" Forstner bit. Obviously, each chair should be checked for leg diameter/size and the appropriate Forstner bit should be used. Once the leg recess is drilled, using the center point left by the Forstner bit, drill a 3/32" dia hole all the way through the plywood. To use, just place the drill jig over the leg, make sure that the leg bottom is in the recessed hole. Use one hand to hold the jig in place, and drill the hole for the screw.

These work really well
I’ve been using felt sliders, but those sometimes come apart after a while. Tried these because I wanted a bit more height on some furniture and was amazed at how easily they slide across the floor. Extremely pleased!

Pointless buying these
Bought for dining chairs on carpet. Stick okay. A little thick so raises chair. They do not glide at all. No point in having them. Other brands I have are great but bought these for the size. Waste of money.

OK - but not what I'd hoped for. The caps fall off on my tiled floor and tool slippy
I spent a bit of time looking for a good floor protector for my chairs as I couldn't find the original ones I'd bought from B&Q again. These got very good reviews so I bought a set to try on a couple of chairs. Seems like a good quality product. Packaged well and nailed into my chair legs with no problems. One problem initially was that they seemed far too slippy. On my tiled kitchen floor (fairly standard tiles, not high gloss or anything) - the chair would slide far too easily (think pushing it with one finger) - making it prone to slipping away from under you as you sit down - which looked a bit dangerous. May be fine on other floors though. But the main issue was a week or so later when the caps started coming off - ie. the greyish bit in the photo - the actual bit which touches the floor. Again it could be my floor, which has large tiles and large grouted gaps between them, which may be causing them to come off, leaving the chair on the main part of the protector which isn't intended to touch a floor but luckily didn't damage mine. They all came off one by one over a week or so so I've had to take them all off unfortunately. Now looking for something else...

Good for reducing noise and friction on chair legs used on Lino floor
I bought these for my wood legged kitchen chairs to combat the scratchy screeching noise they made when dragged across my lino flooring. I screwed on rather than stuck. The instructions say drill a 2.5mm diameter 25mm deep hole. But I didn’t bother getting the drill out. I just used a bradawl to start a hole off and screwed straight on. I think you take the whole glue pad off if drilling. I didn’t think of doing that until I’d done all 4 on one chair! Oops. They work a treat though. The noise is greatly reduced and the chairs glide across the lino now. Good product if you have the same problem.
