Works awesome but doesn’t stay on an adjustable bed

I like the quality and feel. The problem I have is it comes off all the time on my adjustable bed. This is the only mattress protector I’ve had that keeps coming off.

Really is waterproof.

I have dogs and did not want any more gross stains. Especially after buying a tempurpedic! Protects mattress and stains come off easily

Truly Waterproof / Thin but Durable / Sleeps Quiet

PROS: 1.) Does NOT noticeable change the feel of your mattress. This product does not feel like you are sleeping on a vinyl shower curtain, yet it also does not feel like you are sleeping on a jersey sheet either (it is somewhere in between the two). 2.) Lightweight/Thin YET durable. Dry on LOW and you will be fine. 3.) Does NOT have any noticeable effect on the temperature of the mattress when sleeping. 4.) IS WATERPROOF! This was my main concern as I have multiple cats. Whenever I go on vacation if my caretaker is not diligent, the cats will get made at me not being there and take revenge on the mattress. I do not have any fears with this product and my memory foam mattress. CONS: 1.) Price is a little high at $40 (for the Queen size) + $4 standard shipping. 2.) Is NOT a mattress pad. This is not necessarily a con, unless you were seeking a waterproof mattress pad. 3.) One problem does exist when drying. It will ball up in the dryer and not dry easily. It is almost best to air dry if you have the option. 4.) NOT fail proof. If you have cats, keep them away from it when it is not covered by your sheets and blanket. Their claws would probably damage the protector if they were able to get at it when not covered by your normal bedding. This product does a great job of protecting your mattress. One big tip for those who do have mattress pads already... place this on top of the mattress pad. Thus, if there is an accident you will not have to wash the mattress pad underneath the mattress protector. Please vote on review if this review was helpful.

Replaced my old Sleep Tite mattress protector....

Replaced my old Sleep Tite mattress protector with the new improved model... the new product is inferior... won't stay on the corner of the mattress.

I'm really enjoying my Sleep Tite Matress Protector

I just got a great new mattress and I used my old mattress protector on it until my new one from Sleep Tite came. I love the mattress in the store but when I started sleeping on it I realized all too quickly I wasn't as happy as I thought I would be. It seemed hard to roll over and I couldn't figure out why. When my new Sleep Tite Matress Protector came I put it on right away. I had been concerned that when you order things on line they may not fit correctly and then the nightmare begins as how to return it. I'm please to say though it fit perfectly ! Roomy and soft and well made. The best thing about about it I think is that its thin -- not too thin as it might rip or tear and not hold up -- it seems to be well made and very good quality -- but when I say its thin I mean when you go to turn over its not bulky. In fact turning over on my new mattress was really nice now with the new mattress protector. The old one was thick and bulky but this one is comfortable and quiet to sleep on. I realized that the old mattress protector was really thick and quilted and quite difficult to turn over on. The new one was great. I wish I the Sleep Tite available years ago.

It breathes! It protects!

I know that not everyone was completely satisfied with this product. I gambled on the Malouf name since I have become a fan of their sheets and purchased this protector. It is not a mattress pad, and I did not need a pad - I needed a protector. This does NOT have the paper siding that most "deep pocket" protectors have. Not only that, it fit my mattress with the topper and had room to spare. I have enough material to actually be able to tuck it under the mattress. That was a first for me. Another first was that it did not tear the first time I tried to pull it tight. The material does breathe. I can hear the air moving through it when I get out of bed. I am a heavy sweater at night and that is why I needed the protector. So far, this protector is working just fine. I see another one in my future so that I can make my bed without having to wait on this one to finish the laundry cycles. :)

Misleading description & fragile but not bad for the price

I should probably give it a one-star but I don't HATE it... It's my second Sleep Tite- one in Queen & one in King. I hesitate to recommend to others unless the "wash-friendly" factor is HIGH. They had a "yuck" smell until washed so just be sure and plan to launder before first use. We have a small washer/dryer and even the King size protector fit easily to wash and dry so that earned it a star! The material on top seems good. I have not yet had a "flood" on the top but it passed a spilled glass of water with gold marks. I feel confident in the material on the top of protector at this point but unsure if it'll break down if laundered frequently. If you are potty training, you understand what I mean! The FALSE part of the product ad is that it is NOT waterproof on five sides. It has a material down each side- as opposed to elastic bands to hold it down... but the sides are definitely NOT waterproof and the side material tore at one seam when I put it on the king bed. This was surprising because there was PLENTY of material- not a tight fit- but my fingers went right through the seam. I wasn't treating it with kid gloves but I wasn't rough either. I will repair and hold onto it since... I cannot send back as it's box was thrown out. Also, ability to launder easily is very important to us AND it does protect the top of the mattress where most accidents occur... plus it doesn't make a "crinkle" sound since it's not plastic... which is good but makes me wonder how long it'll work! Bottom line- not bad for the price and has some good attributes but not top of the line nor one we expect to have for years to come.

Standard mattress protector but material does not "breath"

I used this for a few weeks only, so keep that in mind when reading the points below. The mattress protector seemed pretty good, it fit my mattress perfectly, it doesn't crinkle when i move around so it doesn't bother me when I lie down. However, I stopped using this quickly because I realized that it was making my back sweat A LOT. I normally do not sweat when I sleep so this was a big point for me to stop using it. Malouf has another mattress protector called "Sleep Tite" that I really like! It doesn't make me sweat when I lie down on it, and most importantly it is still very good at keeping any spills from seeping through.

Value for the money

Haven't had any accidents from our 3year old son but from the reviews I have read it seemed like a lot of people liked it. Package came promptly and looks like good quality. Doesn't have that terrible plastic sound. The only thing is that it is quite loose fitting on the twin bed.
