Pretty Neat Seat

I didn't actually use this before deciding to return it because I had decided to go with a different style toilet seat for potty training. However, I liked the product and the design. It fit my round toilet perfectly. I never installed the magnetic portion that hangs onto the tiny toilet seat, so I can't say how well it worked. The splash guard was a rubber piece that just folded or bent downward with the pressure of the toilet seat cover closing. I thought that was clever. I think this would definitely work for some folk! Nice to be able to close the lid and still have the trainer be part of the whole system so there's no on and off, on and off. It's cheap and returnable, so I say try it out!

Love it but…

I love this seat, except I wish the lid locked more securely to the bottom, a little too much wiggling and it pops off, which can cause quite the mess.

Not sturdy

The height off the floor is perfect for potty training. However, the top does not “click” well into the bottom and we had a couple of incidents where the toddler ran and sat on the potty and the top slipped off and the bucket fell. Also would not use this as a toddler seat on a normal toilet unless you were there holding the seat because it does slip.

My favorite step stool

The media could not be loaded. I use this for my toddler in the bathroom, without the small step. He can put his hand in the handle and move it around easily and access the light, toilet and sink. The height is right for him to use it to sit on the toilet. It is lightweight so I don’t worry about it banging cabinetry and damaging it. I tried a few others before this one and this is my fav.

Second best boys seat

Love that it is easy to clean, just wipe it off, and has an easy hanger. I have the base/hanger attached to the tub just in case of drips. The rubber splash guard seems comfortable. But the splash guard needs to be longer inside the toilet! My boy can be sitting properly and the urine stream can go under the guard, under the seat, and stream onto his clothes or down the toilet to the floor. This is not something the kid notices from his viewing angle. I keep using it because I love how easy to clean. The Munchkin seat is better for boys and younger or early learners. The splash guard really works, the seat is more molded, and the sides have handles to hold for security and positioning assistance. But the underside has several tight corners where the pee settles and it’s hard to wipe it totally clean. I end up soaking it in the tub with denture cleaning tabs.

Part of the process, so it may be useful or not

The little guy has the potty he likes - we got this to use for visiting family, traveling - and he wanted no part of it - likely that it doesn't look like a full toilet/potty. So we returned it. Consider that while you are in the midst of the tears and frustrations of training, even if they have a full routine by now - this MAY disrupt it. Best of luck to you!

Simple, sturdy, may or may not work for you

It's very simple stool. The plastic is thick enough. It has limited anti-slip feet. Eventually we bought another enclosed stool just for safety. That one costs more though.

Great but not very high - not stackable

This is a fine stool and is exactly as described. It is sturdy and there is rubber on the bottom to prevent it from sliding. I'm only disappointed that it is not high enough for my one year old - I think it is more useful for older toddlers. The reason for my 3 stars is because I wish these two stools could be stacked in a different configuration (ie. smaller stool on top of the larger stool). This seems like a real missed opportunity. As it is, the smaller stool is slightly wider than the larger stool, and not very durable. I have not decided if I'll duct tape them for now until my toddler grows up, or just buy a different stool. Please consider giving my review a helpful vote if you found it useful!

Perfect

4 steps tools later… we finally have a winner. Perfect for below the toilet for potty training. Looks great, and works perfectly. Find it the perfect height and love that it has the little step. Wish I would have just bought this one first.

Timeless

Perfect for what I’m looking for. Can grow with the kids, my older one uses the smaller stool for hand washing and the younger one uses the larger for hand washing. At night time they move the stools to the access the bed. When they are older I plan to move the stools to the kitchen were they can use it to reach the counter top. Very happy with my purchase especially for the price point and quality.

Compact seat, love the way it is stored on the toilet lid

This seat is perfect for my 3 year old to transition from the potty to the regular toilet. The seat insert fits securely over the toilet and doesn't slide around. We plan on bringing just the insert with us in a huge ziplock bag when we go to the cabin this summer. The insert stores on underside of the toilet lid with a magnet. We have this installed in our upstairs bathroom that is mainly used for the kids so it's not a problem with adults not being able to lean back while using the throne! It's just nice to have someone to store the insert when not being used by a toddler.

No está alto

El producto es bueno , bonito y práctico pero creo es pequeño para q un niño de 2/3 años alcance el lavamanos por ejemplo. En mi caso lo compre para cubrir esa necesidad y mi hija apenas logra alcanzar a abrir la llave, ella es más alta que en promedio y tiene casi 3 años.
