Almost perfect!

I’m so glad I bought this bassinet. I spent hours researching the best one and I picked this one because it was everything I wanted. It wheels around easily, the drop down side is easy to use and it’s got a little padding around the edges which is perfect for resting your arm on during those nights where baby won’t sleep without your hand resting on them for comfort lol the ONLY things (so far) that I don’t like about it is how loud the sliding side can be when you’re trying to be as silent as possible. And also how not so comfy the mattress is. They took “firm” a little to seriously lol Better than most but still not great. But other than that I recommend this bassinet. High quality for sure and I feel like it’s a safe place for my baby.

Height is not easily adjustable

I like the color , big size, mesh breathable, the open side is nice easy to open wish it was one button since most moms only have one hand available. I don’t like mattress its hard, you have to unscrew to adjust height it’s not adjustable by button very inconvenient.

A Must Have, Especially for C-section Mamas

I had an unplanned c-section and ended up buying this from the recovery room with minimal research simply because it had a drop side feature like the hospital bassinet and could be delivered by the time I got released. It ended up being the best baby item I have purchased and I couldn't live without it and would recommend it for everyone. For C-section moms, this is perfect to keep next to your bed in the early days when it's tough to get up. It's low enough not to hit your belly but high enough you don't have to bend and from bed you can drop down the side panel to reach your baby without even sitting up. For all parents, this thing being on wheels is fantastic. Get one for your main living space and wheel it around when you can't carry or hold the baby but want to have them in eyesight or keep them entertained when you're awake. We keep ours next to the couch as well for quick access and interaction. This thing is better than a playyard because you don't have to bend down and can also roll the baby around when they're fussy to soothe them. Seriously, buy this bassinet - you won't regret it!

We love how small and sturdy it is!

It is very well made it feels extremely sturdy compared to one’s we’ve had in the past. Super easy to assemble. Ours came with all the pieces as stated. The one thing I really love that I haven’t seen anyone talk about is how great and compact it is for if we have to take it anywhere or store away. The ones we’ve had in the past it’s hard to store away and when we moved we couldn’t even put it in a proper box because of how big it was. This seems like it would be perfect if this were to happen and for storing later. My only con is I wish the panel would go all the way down out the way cause I have a feeling I will end up hurting myself trying to get baby out for night feedings but otherwise love it.

Caution to taller moms

If you are a family of giants, this may not be the bassinet for you! I am over 6 feet tall and we have a king sized bed. This bassinet does not reach the top of the bed for me to stay in it to tend to the baby giant. He fits in it just fine, but my aching back after a c-section just does not get any relief from the “regular” or “normal” sized things meant to make parenting babies easier. The bassinet was easy to put together, minus the time it took to unscrew and re-screw the leg screws to raise the height. This is a must buy if you do not have a king sized bed and are not even close to 6 feet tall!

The roomiest bassinet!

This bassinet has truly been wonderful! My infant has been sleeping in it the last few weeks and I can honestly say she’s been sleeping peacefully - day or night. I absolutely love how much room it has because I know we can keep her in it for at least the next few months. My favorite feature is the ability to lower the side wall so that I can easily reach her from bed. Although we had a couple of slightly defective screws, my husband was still able to assemble it pretty easily. Overall, It is so light weight and we are able to wheel it from room to room with ease. I definitely recommend this product.

Perfect for our newborn!

We love the Skip Hop bassinet! It’s so convenient to be able to easily access our baby throughout the night via the door panel. We had another bassinet before we got the Skip Hop and it was difficult to soothe her when she got fussy. Now we are able to rub her belly or give her a pacifier without having to get out of bed. The instructions were fairly easy to understand and set up was straightforward. The bassinet is very sturdy without being overly bulky which is nice because we have limited space next to the bed.
