Bought these to detail my 1-24 scale cars. Work great for shift knobs, signal stalks, etc. Chuck it in my flexshaft machine and shape to the size and profile I require, then polish and you are good to go.

Quality is not great

Just ok. Many broken pin shafts or unsharpened pins. Two fell apart - head came off the shaft. You’d expect a couple of pins with issues like these might make it past quality control, but for a big brand like Singer to be shipping a product with this many errors in one pkg - it’s unusual and I’m disappointed. Won’t be buying again. Total of 12 pins that were unusable.

Used for holding needle felting pieces together

I use these pins to pin the arms and legs together while making needle felted animals. They are nice and short and sharp as well.

Not sharp

I misread the size when I ordered these. 1” pins are short and not so easy to work with. But that is not the reason for the 3 star rating. I found them not to be very sharp and would catch in the fabric. Oh well, live and learn!

Good pins

What can I say, they're pins! They are good for temporarily attaching pieces of fabric together and they work well for attaching papers to cork board or cubicle wall material. They come in nice colors! They are, however, very short pins.

Not quite sure what to make of this...

Because of the Singer Brand, I had expected each pin to have a sharp head. I was surprised to find out it was not true. I am experiencing 1-2 out of every ten I am having to throw out because it won’t pierce the fabric. What a shame...

These are nice pens however they're only one inch long and I would have preferred at least an inch and a half. I'm not sure whether the listing said how long they were or not but they work well other than being shorter than I expected.
