Fell apart while routing elastic

I bought some of these to help me route elastic bands through my first patterns that use elastic. On my first attempt, the safety pin fell apart. By the time I got it routed through and pushed out of the channel, the "safety" head had fallen off, and I was left with two sharp ends: the sharp end of the safety pin, and the part that normally goes into the safety pin head/catch. I'm a new seamstress and not very good, but these are also not very tough. I didn't put a ton of stress on the safety pin, and I measured the channel margin using a seam tool to accommodate the elastic. These appear to be made quickly to a relatively low standard. Something to keep in mind especially for new seamstresses who might need a little more endurance out of their safety pins.

Cute & colorful, but beware

The pins are great, but the pack that was delivered had obviously been opened and 3 pins were missing. Irritating.

Colored Safety Pins

These colored safety pins are a godsend for those of us who need to have easy to secure and change costuming. If I have a complaint, it is that there are too few of the larger sized pins in each package, and finding the larger sized pins packaged singly is almost impossible. I'd also wish them to be a bit sturdier and able to pin through multiple fabric layers without bending out of shape. Pricey, but good product.

High Quality and Awesome Colors

After reading all the reviews on safety pins available ( I had no idea there would be so many!) I bought these to use for cloth masks. They are great colors and sharp, sturdy, and high quality. Did not bend at all pushing through two layers of elastic. Will definitely buy again!

A Pintresting Take On The Standard Safety Pin!

Who doesn't use safety pins from time to time? I know I do, and these safety pins are nice to keep on hand. Even though they have a metallic finish, they actually are not as noticeable as a standard safety pin because it is a muted metallic. Having a box of assorted sizes kept me from having to purchase multiple boxes in order to have a variety of sizes to suit the need. I love them and will be buying more of them when I need to refill my safety pin stash.

Cute pins that look nice and bend easily

They're not really for heavy duty jobs. Cute pins that look nice and bend easily. I have bought them multiple times now, as sometimes you want a pretty pin to hold together something obvious. But buy other pins if you need them to stay forever.

A little thicker and not as sharp as expected.

I thought these would be sharper and finer as they can leave a more noticeable hole in some materials and do not penetrate the material as easily as other colored safety pins I have.

Safety Pins That Work

It is hard these days to find decent safety pins. The ones available locally are so flimsy and bend and don't stay shut so I found these and they are much sturdier with a much better locking head on the pin. Finally what I need for a good price, a good assortment of sizes and it makes sense that is from Singer. Diaper pins are a bit too big for my purposes and they are even harder to find these days.
