Amazing Packing and Solid Piece!

Super solid piece. I expected these to be more traditional particle board, but they are super solid. The packing on these things was the best I've ever seen on any product in my life. Each piece wrapped with foam and tape. Not an inch was exposed. Large foam blocks surrounding the whole thing, yet the overall package was packed very small. The entire time assembling I was talking about how well they were packaged. They give you plenty of spare parts in case anything is messed up. We had 2 people to assemble so that helped, although you could do it with one. It also helped that we had been assembling a lot of furniture lately. It all went together great and easy, minus the top. It goes on easy enough, but the bolt locations only allow for 1/4 turns of the wrench and you can't hand tighten very far so it's a long battle of 1/4 turns to get 4 bolts in. Other than that, they look great, and solid, and have no complaints! The allen tool tighten bolts is also very unique! The end of the allen is almost ball shaped, allowing you to not need the allen 100% perpendicular to the bolt head. This made the tool fit in the bolt much easier and you could spin the tool around with flexibility.

It looks good and works

I really love this nightstand. My only challenge was the build. It is the toughest one I have done and I have done a few. really get what the instructions says to get and follow to the T. or when it comes to the bottom of the 2 drawers you will have a time of it.. I got 2 of these and the second 1 turned out better. It hold a good amount. In 1 we have books on the bottom and it hold quite a few.. Other than the build. I love these. You can always ask a handy friend to help you build them.

Excellent bedside night stand

For the money this is a good buy. Repeat, a good buy. It’s well made and solid. Nothing particleboard about about it. I bought the light golden brown version and I am very happy with the purchase and the color. Overall, it was easy to put together but attaching the top was a little tedious. You could only turn the wrench a quarter turn at a time. It wasn’t hard just tedious. I am seriously considering buying another one.

An Advance on the State-of-the-Art

Most mail order furniture requires assembly, so does this one. However these bedside tables are stronger and more well designed than any of the many others I've put together in the past. This brand costs a bit more but preforms a great deal better than its flimsy feel and light-weight competitors. The directions are simple and easy to follow. The materials are heavier and have a more durable feel. The Fit & Finish more than justifies the slightly higher purchase price. What's not to Love?

Nice & solid piece but...

I bought two of these for my bedroom. I wanted something that looked like a nice piece of solid furniture that might last. These nightstands fit that goal. They are solid, nice smooth design with good working/sliding drawers and nice satin finish. They are not an exceptional value for the price but for solid wood I would say fair price at the $187 I paid had they been blemish free. Both arrived with a couple less than perfect pieces and that was disappointing but the hassle of returning to try two others didn’t seem logical as it is still solid, functional, and not noticeable unless up close - they should have better quality control to ensure you get a flawless product at this cost. I would have given 5 stars has there been no flaws.

Doesn’t fit snugly as shown in the pictures

Made of decent quality but the paint is a very flimsy coat of white paint powder sprayed and also the drawers don’t fit snugly showing significant gabs as shown in the pictures I attached.
