I MODIFY THIS OVEN LINER TO USE ON MY GAS STOVE TOP
I rarely write product reviews but had to with this oven liner. In addition to using it as a liner inside the oven, I use it on the "stove top" to prevent grease and spills on my black porcelain gas stove top. The modified liner fits perfectly under the cast iron grates for my stove top. To modify, I first had to measure and then cut holes for each of the 4 gas holes on top of the stove. I did this by taking off all the cast iron grates and laying the oven liner on top of the 4 burners on the stove top. I then pressed the liner against the top of one of the 4 burners and traced the line of that burner with a pencil around the edge of the liner. I then cut out the whole of just that one burner and then laid the liner flat over that burner opening. I then proceeded to do the same for each of the remaining burners. This way - you get a much tighter fit for each of the 4 stove top burners. I am so pleased with this product because it does the job and keeps the top of my stove clean. When a stove top spill does happen it is easy to wipe clean. It is hard to find individual metal burner liners that fit. Even if they fit they only cover a portion of the stove top so spills still can be a mess. This product is perfect because, when modified as described above on a gas stop top, it covers the entire stove top - no gaps! Note: It hasn't caught fire on my gas stove top because the liner is lying flat - below each of the 4 gas burners. I would not recommend using this product on an electric stove top because the heating elements would cause the liner to catch fire.

I love these liners but I don't use them in the oven, but under the gas burners on the top of the range. For years, I was fitting tin foil under the gas burners and covering the top. It would look nice until the next time I cooked and ever speck of crumbs or boil-overs, I purchased the Bellemain liners and fit then under the burners using a exactly knife and a paper punch. One liner covers 60% of the top of the range so I slid the second under and left the overlap. I made sure to leave the liners under the metal grates which allows the liner to follow the dips and curves. To trim the extra off, I ran the knife along the grate, not the range as to not damage the enamel finish. My daughter saw my range top, loved it so I ordered her a set. We agree, we should have purchased the liners years ago

I can only give the oven liners a 4 as I only received it last week and don't have a long term opinion. I was impressed as to the thickness/quality of the sheets. Most other are paper thin and this has a really good substance. I am also impressed at the to size. Most others are small and this completely covers the bottom of my oven. I've only used it 2 or 3 times and have no complaints so far. After a while or when it needs to be cleaned, I'll have a more complete opinion. But - again - so far very good.

So many uses for this wonderful product.
Love having the option of length and width with this roll of non-stick liner material. Big oven? Fits. And yes, I put it on the bottom with no problem. Toaster oven? Cut-to-fit. Need to fit a round pan for that favorite recipe like pineapple upside-down cake? Cut to fit. And nothing sticks. Wash clean with just water and a tiny bit of liquid soap, if needed. I even put this on the glass turntable of my microwave oven, and, of course, trimmed it to fit perfectly. It is hard to find a round non-stick that will fit the exact turntable you have, so get this and cut it to exactly what you need. Thicker and nicer than some of the others I've tried, I think you will find many ways to use this material.

This is a Good Thing
They don't make it clear in the ad, but the box is very clear that this should not be on the oven floor. I have a standard electric range and acting upon the advice of other users, put it under the heating element. Works fine. I think it gets less heat than if it was on a bottom rack over the heating element. Had the oven up to 400 so far with no issues. I like it. Expect to like it even more the next time a casserole or pie boils over.

At first of all I never knew there were such item, done on me yes offcource,,all this time I used to use large size alminium foil, each time cut size to fit. But I found this liner when I was brousing after I decided to order new toaster oven. how nai`ve I was all this time!! By the way I order the protection plan as little less than $3.00.Then I cancel right a way. because I realize that if anything happened to thils liner I can discust with company or I can reorder again insteadfor small cost item. I cut half size one for brand new toaster oven, and another whole size peice i place regular oven. Yes I do will order again.

After a few months still work great.
I bought these to go into the bottom of the oven like the betty crocker ones I had used previously. After using them for a few weeks and finding they were doing a good job, I went to recycle the box and saw it said not to place directly on oven floor. They are holding up great and having them on the floor doesn't seem to have affected their quality. I have a gas oven where the heat is piped in through the back so there isn't a coil like in an electric oven. I think that might make a difference.

Keeping things tidy...
My stove works great, but there was a problem with the self-cleaning piece. Long story, but I had to have the wires cut. Rather than get a new stove, I use oven liners. I have another brand in place now, but they are hard to find in stores, so I ordered these. I have not used these yet. Just wanted to have them on hand. I do put them on the floor of the oven. They do not rest on electric coils. I do take the liner out when I broil, and as directed on the package of the presently used liner and the Bellemain package, I will remove the liner when setting the temperature at 500.
